This latch fit in the loveseat perfectly. It is an Ashley loveseat and it was out of warranty so at least five years old. Couldn't have asked for a better fit, it was shipped timely, and was very reasonably priced. A+

I originally bought this to replace my broken handle in my chair. It is essentially the same exact thing and was easy to install. It appears to be made well, should hold up. But I honestly returned it in favor of the same thing that was made of all metal.

I didn't have to replace the cable, only the lever. The notch that the cable fit into was slightly too small, so I had to shave some plastic off to make it fit, but it was super easy!! This is working perfectly and is sturdier than the original. I watched a couple of YouTube video for detailed instructions. I highly recommend this item. ... show more

The only reason for 4 stars and not five is the word “universal” in the description. It led me to believe that all handles are the same size and this is not the case. For my chair I had to modify a place holder since the replacement handle was shorter than the original. Not sure if the description included measurements. If so then completely my fault.
