Bought this to replace artificial turf from Home Depot that was old and dirty. I was surprised how light the box was and thus assumed the quality would be cheap, but it's not. It is much lighter weight then the Home Depot one on the big roll that they sell by the foot, which turned out to be a blessing while installing it on an unevenly-sloping embankment leading down to a river. I use it for getting my paddleboard in and out without scratching the bottom on sand and rocks. It was easy to install and cut with a simple cheapo box cutter from the dollar store. It's still holding up nicely and I couldn't be happier with it. I was truly surprised that you can still get good stuff for bargain. We use this rug under our 12 x 24 awning next to our camper trailer to keep dust down. It works great for that. And since it's permeable, when the rain comes in under the awning, or someone spills a drink, it just goes right through the fabric into the ground. My wife loves the fact that it gives our outdoor kitchen a much cleaner look than it would have if we just had dirt or vegetation to walk on. It's easy to roll up and store away, although our 12 x 23 rug makes a large bundle. Surprisingly, it does not weigh very much for it's size. My only complaint is that it does not have any grommets or reinforced corners to help anchor it down. We camp in windy areas and found that using carpet spikes to keep the rug in place is a requirement. I plan to add nylon webbing and D rings to all 4 corners to help with staking it down. We love how thick and green the rug is. I'm thinking of buying another one to go inside a large wall tent I have that does not have a floor. ... show more

I purchased the brown color and it looks terrific on my lower deck. It’s not a solid brown but more heather brown with light and dark brown pile. The short pile is an excellent feature in that it does not collect a lot of Douglas Fir needles and if it does, they’re easily swept away or blown away with the leaf blower. 8 x 10 is a perfect size for my seating arrangement Now for the minor flaw. The carpet is thin and when chairs are moved, it can slightly wrinkle. All this carpet needs is a little thicker backing and it would be a five star carpet. I recommend this carpet even with its minor imperfection. I would purchase it again for other areas of my deck. It's a great buy! ... show more

Like the color, the material, the build but it was all folded up and there are creases all over the rug. I assume it will eventually flatten itself out in the warm sun but I would have really preferred it rolled up like rugs should be. Also was not quite the right size for the space I had, but this is the closest option they had. Would be nice if custom sizes were offered. ... show more

We no longer have a truck so getting a decent sized piece of carpet or turf home is problematic. This is a great find. Ordered 12x12. It came UPS. Folded, in a box. Easily managed by one person. It wasn’t stiff and had no creases, laid flat, corners flat too, no curling. Feels nice. FYI for anyone unfamiliar with outdoor turf etc… if it’s in full sun on a hot day it will get too hot to be comfortable bare foot. Cools quickly though. Also dries quickly. ... show more
