Best Robe I’ve Ever Experienced!!’
Size: X-Large Color: Wine
I bought this robe for my mother for Christmas. She owned a gift shop for 25 years, so we don’t give gifts lightly in my family. I was anxious to find the best robe I could for her, but this robe met my high standards. I’d contemplated an L.L. Bean robe that was more expensive and only got this when that continued to be sold out, but I’m glad it was. The robe is extremely soft and hasn’t lost its luscious feel despite multiple washes. Some robes sort of go flat and lose their fluffiness, but this did not. The color is vivid, but not lurid, and it hasn’t faded after being washed with cold water for its first two washes. There were a few little linty bits when it initially arrived, but I think with basically anything this fluffy, that’s bound to happen. There weren’t a ton of them and it didn’t continue to shed, as some fuzzy things I’ve bought in the past have. My mother is a tall woman, so she’s never had the luxury of a long robe almost to the floor to keep her legs warm in the winter. It’s a main factor for why I bought this specific robe. I wanted her covered and I wanted her cocooned in softness. Mission accomplished! Even on her, the robe hit just a bit above the ankle, and she loves how cozy it is. I’m not sure how they made the hood, but it’s cut in such a way that... I don’t know how describe it. It’s like it wants to be on your head. Some hoods have a tendency to slide off or indifferently stay plopped where you put them until you agitate them. This robe’s hood is cut so that when you pull it over your head, it sort of... cradles it and you feel the slight weight of it around your head. It doesn’t “want,” to fall back. It’s very secure, without needing a string to tighten it light a hoodie would. The collar is thick and luxurious feeling. It overlaps, which has been a concern with previous robes I and my mother have had. As well-endowed women, some robes don’t have wide enough collars to be able to comfortably overlap over our chests, and our necks and collarbones can get surprisingly cold, leading us to have to clench the fabric together, which is a pain. She doesn’t have to do that with this robe. The cuffs are also thick and fluffy and cover her wrists, which has been an issue due to her height. Less than a month after getting this present, my mother was diagnosed with cancer; her issues with temperature regulation made more sense then. Chemo causes more of those problems in some people. This robe has been indispensable to her in the months since. She’s currently on a trip to her specialists and packed the robe. Often hotel rooms are cold and A/C systems are finicky; this robe is insurance for her. It’s also large enough to function as a throw on top of her covers if need be. For its size and warmth, it’s pretty light, which makes it a solid pick for travel as well. Despite me being petite, I believe I’ll get myself a robe as well; in my size it seems it would be just above the ground, and as I like the warmth of the full length full coverage style as well, that’s a big plus in my book. I tend to stick with just one heavy robe for about every six or seven years or so, so me choosing this is a big endorsement from me. Also, being from such a conscious gift-giving family, where every gift has meaning and thought behind it, considering it one of my best successes in several years is no small feat. I rarely leave five star reviews and am pretty picky, if I’m honest, but I cannot recommend this more. ... show more

The stuffy stuff!
Size: X-Large Color: Grey
This robe is the stuffy stuff! I’m 5’7 140lb and it fits big and comfy and nearly touches the floor when I’m barefoot. It’s so soft. And warm. And pretty much as soon as I get home, it’s out of my clothes and Into this robe. It took me forever to pay the money for this but well worth the price. The robe is well made as well. The stitching lovely, no sharp edges etc. and the material does not warp. It has stayed soft through many washes and only on the first one was there a tiny bit of fuzz in the lint trap. None since. Just get it. ... show more

Amazing
Size: X-Large Color: Navy
It is very comfortable, warm and long. Although on the tag it says it cannot be washed, under a delicate cycle it is still great and the same quality after the wash.

Soft and beautiful.
Size: Large Color: Wine
Like all robes, I have issue with them. They are basically made unisex, so they are formed for men and women just need to deal with it. I do not like wide sleeves, beltloops on my hips rather than on my waist, nor shoulder seams off the shoulder. With that said: This robe is so soft and fluffy, yet not heavy like you are wearing a blanket around. The material is very shiny and luxurious. I am 5'5, 135 lbs. I purchased a Large and an X-Large, because I wanted to make sure it was long enough. The Large was the perfect length. It touches the top of my feet without dragging on the floor tripping me like the X-Large would. The shoulder seams sit exactly at the end of my shoulders like they should. The belt loops actually sit at my waist, which is awesome! I wear my robe always, so I cook and clean in it and would like it if the sleeves were not so wide. I may just take them in about 4" around the cuff. The only "too large" issue I have is that it is so big around that it ends up overlapping the pocket, which I have a habit of putting my hands in. I will probably never use the hood. I just think hoods are adorable and wanted one on my robe. I think a Medium would have fit me better, but I wanted the length. Over all, I am very happy with my purchase. It is a lovely robe. ... show more

Very pleased
Size: Large Color: Wine
Bought this robe to replace the 15 year old Victoria’s Secret full-length terry cloth robe that was about to fall to pieces lol. Overall, I’m very pleased—it’s incredibly soft, comfortable, completely covers you, surprisingly lightweight—far more so than the terry cloth thing I just retired lol. With the hood, it’s plenty warm, but because it is so lightweight, I don’t think it will be too hot for summer. It’s also very absorbent. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the color of the burgundy robe I bought isn’t nearly as rich as it appears in the picture—still very nice, but one of the reasons I bought it was because I loved the deep color pictured…bit of a cheat, there. Also, while this is washable, you’re not supposed to dry it…important instructions that should be perfectly clear. Luckily, something told me to look for the tag (it’s at the bottom hem, not under the collar), and had to look up the symptoms because the instructions uses symbols, not words. I can see how it would be easy to miss and then the robe might not hold up very well. Still, overall I’m happy with my purchase and I feel it was worth the money (though I bought it on sale lol) ... show more

Better than expected!
Size: X-Large Color: Olive Green
This robe is a wonderful garment. I am 5'7" and bought it in XL so it would be floor length and it hits the top of my feet. Just long enough but not too long to trip over. It is heavy, thick, soft, well made and washed nicely. The only thing it isn't is Olive Green. It is more of a pretty bright yellow green. I highly recommend this robe and may just buy it in another color! ... show more

Most comfy thing ever
Size: X-Large Color: Wine
Worth every penny! So soft. Upsize if you want a nice loose fit. I’m 5’3 147lbs and I got an extra large cause I wanted it to be roomy.
