This is an awesome product, we took it to Dominican Republic to keep out drinks food cold and it works very well. Let’s just say 95f+ on the beach it will keep ice solid and everything inside nice and cool. It’s comfortable and durable we have had it since Jan no issues. I recommend this product. Going to the beach is super easy as this can hold a lot beverages cold ex. 24 pack of beer 2 bottles of liquor and ice no problem plus drinks.... good times :) ... show more

Awesome. Bought the XL for a trip to Baja, as well as summer hikes to the lake, beach days, concerts and the like. It carries a ton of beers, mixers and ice (easily hauls an 8lb bag plus 12 beers, lunch, mixers and a couple bottles of booze). Was a bit worried when it arrived because it looked huge, but you really do need the space, and it gets a lot smaller when rolled closed. Seems durable so far, and doesn't sweat or leak a drop. Direct sun definitely affects the performance, but it'll hold a good percentage of ice overnight if you keep it closed, drained, and in the shade. Here are two reasons I'm holding back on a five-star review: 1. The roll-top closure is splash-resistant, but it isn't waterproof. All it would take is a little engineering to make this a truly "dry" cooler. 2. The coarse mesh lining the harness is uncomfortable on bare shoulders. Considering the intended use (beach, pool, etc) I'm surprised. There are softer mesh fabrics that perform just as well. Altogether, however, this is a great little cooler, and for the price, it fills its niche like a champ. Well worth it! ... show more

I used the ICEMULE Pro backpack cooler on vacation at the beach. I loaded the cooler with pre-chilled drinks and then filled the ICEMULE Pro backpack cooler with the hotel ice machine. The backpack does end up getting heavy if you overload it. But for the not so far walk to the beach it was fine. I might want to buy another one for a family member to use so we can bring more to the beach next year. ... show more

I researched many options and reviews before deciding on this one and I couldn't be more pleased. It's so much easier than hauling a large, heavy, cumbersome cooler. We took it to the beach and it kept our drinks cold all day. We'll never go back to a standard cooler.

Took this cooler to the beach for 4 days. First, let me say that a soft side cooler won't compare to a hard-side yeti. Second, in the full day sun on the beach it more than held its own. The backpack feature was a huge win. Seems super durable and able to handle all this family of 6 has to dish out. Warning, a fully loaded icemule is heavy (duh, a 24 pack of water is heavy also...) but the backpack is amazing. Note, you will receive a number of looks and questions as this versatile cooler just makes sense. I was a bit worried with the fold-down top closure. It did take some getting used to and the kids arent experts at closing it yet. Although, the fold down top actually makes it super easy to fill with drinks and ice and incredible to drain water after a full day in the sun. After 1 week of daily use, I'm so glad I chose this cooler. The backpack alone pushes it ahead of the yeti in my book. ... show more
