I’ve been wearing ice breaker tanks for years as a base layer during cold winter months. These tanks are in NO way itchy. If anything you would never know they are even wool material except for the fact they keep you incredibly warm. They are machine washable and even dryer friendly. The straps (non-adjustable) were too long, making for an awkward fit on my very-slender, 5'4" body. (For others taller/larger, it should work much better.)
