I think the most important thing that I need to tell you about this tub is just how quickly it can be set up. The listing even boasts that this tub has a 1 minute set up time. Now in all fairness, it took me longer than a minute to set it up the first time but that's because it was the first time to ever set up an ice bath. Now that I have set it up initially, I can say that it really is super simple to set this up. I merely pulled the folded ice bath tub out of the cardboard box and then unfolded it and locked the legs on the side. Just like that the tub was almost ready to be filled with water. Next, I simply plugged the two holes inside of the tub. From there the tub was ready to be filled with water. So, the quick setup time is referring to the setup time that it takes to get the tub to where it's ready to be filled with water. As far as how long it will take to fill the tub with water, that will depend on how many gallons per minute your water source outputs as well as how high you're wanting the water level. With the water hose source that I used, it took about 3 minutes to fill the tub. I filled the tub about 6 in below the top of the tub line. I then added two bags of ice. I actually wish that I would have put less water in the tub because as I started to lower myself down into the tub, water started to pour out the edges of the tub. The ice water was super cold, and I had no issues with the tub whatsoever. One thing that I want to make sure that I mention though is that the tub does not come with a lid. I would recommend planning on either emptying the tub out or using a tarp of some sort to cover the tub. The fast setup time as well as the easy storage of the tub itself when the tub is folded back down, makes this ice bathtub a very good choice. ... show more

This is a really good portable ice bath. I needed one easy to set up & break down for travel and it definitely is super easy to set up, clean & break down. I recommend buying bags of ice for each use or finding ice molds. But the easiest & quickest is getting bags of ice. The pool drains nicely. No issues at all. WALMANN Ice Bath Tub for Athletes I got this from my wife, an avid runner preparing to run the New York City Marathon. After the last time she ran the marathon, I thought it would be a good idea to prep for the after-marathon situation. In previous years, we had just used a bathtub full of ice cubes, but thought maybe we needed to have a better plan for the next one. This ice bathtub seems well-made and easy to deploy after the big run. It is swift to set up, which is critical and seems sturdy once it is up. I like that it arrives flat, so you can store it away when not in use but break it out quickly when needed. While my wife fits into it perfectly as she is petite, I wonder if I would fit as well, being 6 feet tall and rather large. I don't run, so I don't know when I would need to get into an ice bath. Construction - It was built ok. The frame is a little flimsy. The liner seems pretty thick though and should last for a while. Size - I fit about perfect. 6'2" and it was just at shoulder height sitting with crossed legs. Therefore, it should accommodate most people comfortably. Assembly - Setup was a piece of cake. 30 seconds. Storage - It collapses down to a very small size for storage. Value - Worth the price in my opinion. We've had this ice bath outside for weeks now over sub-zero, snowy winter. It's held up to the abuse. It's very sturdy, and we really appreciate the top ring - much better than ice baths with inflatable top rings. It was quick to assemble, and is easy to drain, fold, and store. It's just about the perfect portable ice bath; if it came with a sturdy lid (one that could support a foot of overnight snow), it'd be perfect. We've used a cut sheet of plywood as a cover to keep debris out. It's great to use, and considering how sturdy it is (especially compared to other ice baths on the market), it's worth the price. My crazy husband wanted this and he really likes it. He is 5’11 and can fit in no problem. It doesn’t leak and stays together. It was easy to put together. It's not a fancy once but he is ok with it. It does what it is supposed to.
