Update to below: After a week or two, the creases really did completely smooth out by themselves. It is flat and absolutely no creases now. So I increased to 5 stars. You just have to be patient! Previous post: The mat itself is good quality. But it was folded tightly and wrapped with plastic so the creases in the mat are awful. Someone mentioned in a review that their mat was rolled; that would have been acceptable. Someone else wrote that the wrinkles come out in a few days, but theirs must not have been folded and wrapped so tight as to actually damage the mat. Mine would need to have a cow sleep on it for a week before the wrinkles are pressed out of it. ... show more

I read a few reviews before purchasing this mat that focused on how its shipped. Some buyers apparently received their mats rolled (which is pretty standard with mats). But of course mine showed up all folded. I was tempted to return it, but I had the bright idea to try using my steamer to get the creases out and to my surprise it worked. After about 10-15 minutes of steaming the mat, I was able to get all the creases out and I’m pretty sure it’ll lay perfectly flat after a few days. The mat itself is a great value and pretty nice quality. It stops the bass from sliding for sure. So if you don’t have a steamer DO NOT BUY THIS. Otherwise if you do have one laying around I’d recommend this product. The seller should definitely reconsider how they’re shipping these things. Seriously if you need to add a few bucks to the purchase price to accommodate for alternative shipping methods, do it. ... show more

Dimensions are correct. My fault for not measuring my drum set. The pictures they provide of drum sets on it are completely skewed and false. Maybe child drum sets are that size on it. But a full kit barely fits on it

Barely functional, thin, and, as others have said, not rubberized on the bottom so the whole thing can slip easily. I bought my last rug at Walmart for $10 - it was a polyester indoor/outdoor with an actual rubber bottom and it lasted for years. I don’t think this will hold up for very long. I'm really getting tired of buying cheap junk and expecting a bargain, so I may just stop buying it and stop complaining. ... show more
