Well, I ordered for my dome lights. A Chev 6.0 and after I installed these let me just say this. I’m parked at night in the parking lot at work. Working the night shift. Wife visits me at 2am and we start getting busy. She opens the door by accident and I’m 2 ball hitches deep in her. The dome lit up. Next thing I know I gotta 1k lumens flash light in my eye and an officer asking me to step out of my vehicle. Turns on the dome light was so bright that the security camera was able to catch me 2 ball hitches deep in my wife. 2 stars for embarrassment and 5 stars for brightness!! ... show more

Bulbs are bright. All of them arrived looking good and in working condition, But they didn’t fit my car. They are too large. The heat sink bumps into the wire tabs on the clips. I can’t bend it out of the way since that’s where the mounting screw is.

I recently bought a 2009 Ford F250, and desperately needed some dome lights. I initially installed some incandescent bulbs, but I knew I wanted more. This is a work truck, and when I open the door, I want the cab to be flooded with light. Next I modified the dome lights with diodes to power up the map lights as well when the doors open. This was a huge stride. But still I knew I wanted more. Finally I bit the bullet and bought some iBrightstar Xenon white lights (6000K). I like the output. But the color was just too "icy white" for my liking. Then I found these bulbs and they're perfect. They're definitely whiter than the incandescent bulbs, but the color seems more natural. Now when I open my door, 6 of these kick on and it floods the cab with light. I'll be doing the same to my F350 and try to give the 6000K bulbs away. ... show more

For Honda Element owners: These lights are awesome, but after the door is opened then closed, these lights will buzz. (Lights set on "Door" setting. Front seating area in ceiling). I believe it's because the car needs canbus-rated bulbs because the lights will slightly dim the interior lights after the door is opened then closed. So basically, these lights can't handle the dimming and they will very noticeably buzz. However, the rear cargo area will work fine when the rear hatch is opened. No buzzing there. (We have a 2011 Honda Element... and Yes, I tried all 4 bulbs in both yellow and purple. 8 bulbs total) Returning these and getting canbus-rated ones instead. ... show more
