Honestly we've traveled out of the country several times and have never once had an issue with electrical connections. I attribute this mostly to traveling almost exclusively by cruise ship or river boat, but we're returning to Europe again this autumn and will be staying in a few land based hotels. I think that most of these would already have some sort of accommodation, but having this adapter might come in handy, you just never know. As far as differing plug styles goes this thing seems to have you covered, at least in so far as Europe and the UK. Probably Asia, Australia and the far east as well, but we have no immediate plans for those areas. Others have already mentioned this, but it's important to note that this is a plug adapter only and not a voltage converter. In short, it will not reduce 220 volt outlets to 110 volts, you'll need a voltage converter for that. Beyond these assumptions there's just no way to test this, or any other plug adapter while we're still in the US. So it's kind of a leap of faith no matter what you pick. Frankly I'm hoping we won't need it, but even if it's only used once it's worth having. ... show more

    • a good plug adapter for travel
Plug adapters are a necessity when traveling overseas, and I always like to have a few in my bag so that when I get to my hotel room for the evening I can charge all of my devices at once. So I've already got a couple of adapters, but I decided to grab this one so that I could have an extra available. I can already tell that this is going to become one of my main ones, with one of the old ones becoming the "backup." Things I like about this... 1. It has a USB-C port. Some of my older adapters only have the old-school larger USB-A ports in them, but many of my devices have gone USB-C. There are workarounds to this (USB-A to USB-C cables), but a direct USB-C connection is best. One caveat -- The USB-C port in this does *not* put out as much power as comes through an outlet. When I plug my camera battery charger into the power outlet with an A/C adapter, it is able to charge two batteries at once. When I skip the A/C adapter and plug it directly into the USB-C port here, it is only able to charge one battery at a time – a sign that it's not getting enough power to do both. For many devices that won't matter so much, but it's something to be aware of – if something that you've plugged into the USB-C port doesn't seem to be charging as fast as it should, try plugging it into the electrical outlet instead. 2. This adapter comes with a nice fitted, zippered case which will help to protect it in my bag. With my other adapters, which don't have a case, it's possible that other items in the bag could fall into or become stuck in one of the many outlets on it. With this one being in its case takes care of any potential issues like that. Something to keep in mind – this is *not* a voltage converter. If you plug it into a 220 volt outlet (i.e., Europe, a lot – but not all – of Asia, etc.), it will deliver 220 volts to your device. Most modern phones, tablets, laptops, etc. can handle this, but other appliances like hairdryers cannot. Make sure that you know what the device that you are connecting can handle before you connect it. If you need a voltage converter, those are pretty readily available too, but this is not it. Overall, though, if it's a power plug adapter that you need, this is a great one to get. ... show more

    • Unbelievably Versatile, Great Adapter!
I ordered this product because I had an appliance with a European style plug which I needed to use in the US. This works perfectly. In addition to fitting a US standard 110/120 Volt plug, it will also fit a 220 Volt US plug. It will also be great for traveling as it has two other plugs for use in other countries. It is pretty neat how you slide out the plug you wish to use to connect to your power source. On the female side of the adapter, it will accept male plugs for all four of the same plugs. The device also 4 regular USB plugs for charging phones and other devices as well as a USB-C port. You do need to note that this is an adapter and not a converter. If you plug it into a 220 Volt power source, you will have 220 Volts on the female side. Overall, this is an awesome adapter to use whether you have a device configured for a foreign power source you wish to use in the US or to use US configured devices overseas. ... show more

PORTABILITY I love how this comes with a carrying case that is made very durable and looks so premium. It also comes with its own charging cable. PORTS AND PLUGS The ports work really well, and the interchanging ability between countries is very simple and quick. It protects the unused plugs reliably. Tldr; works and does the job. First, it has a really touch by providing a USB-A/Type-C cable together in the box, which also fits in the small bag. The bag itself helps keeping the adapter from scratches. Second, outside of the simple adapter side for most common sockets, it also provides 4 USB-A and 1 Type-C port for charging your smaller devices at the same time. Next, I tested the charging times for each of the ports, providing the following data. After charging for 5 minutes: through USB-A port I got my phone 3% charges, through Type-C (with fast charge cable) 5%, and just as an adapter through my own block I got 29% of charge. Just be aware of it when you decide to pack just this adaptor on your trip (which may be more than enough if you've got enough cables). ... show more

It comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable, a nice travel kit. Very useful for charging your devices while you travel. It's easy to swap different plug standards, and it had no trouble charging my phone. I've used many travel adapters like this one in the past, and they all get the job done.

I travel a lot and have several travel plugs but, nowadays I have so many things that need USB ports to charge and this one has four plus one C port and even a c to USB cable. It even comes with a case! What a great buy and this is now my new and only travel plug needed.
