Comes with only 3 short screws for 4 holes - but I got better ones anyhow. Comes with 3 larger washers and 2 smaller washers - you need 2 but it doesn't tell which to use. Upper 2 lateral holes need wall anchors, but instead I just mounted a length of double 1" x 6" pine boards to studs and then upper and lower center holes can hit stud and lateral holes go into the pine boards. Better and probably easier since the anchors looked iffy. Directions absent so I had to look online. Directions very sketchy (such as what do you do with different size washers). Also says use "Allen wrench" to mount bolts to stabilize hanger under rod. Would be helpful if they said "3 mm Allen wrench" - only 3 more characters. I had a hard time finding that one. ... show more

Great bike hanger. I opted to follow other's advice, and mount this to a 18" piece of wood, then mount it to two studs. I used 1/4" nuts and bolts to mount the hanger to the wood, then 2x 3" GRK fasteners to mount the wood to the studs in my garage. This worked perfectly. I'm sure this could hold my weight, which is more than enough to hold a ~25lbs bicycle on a 6" arm. Some bash this because this does not come with hardware to mount to drywall (only masonry or concrete, as it does state in the description). However, the description also has pictures that state that you can use this to put your bike in any room in your house. This is misleading for those of us that do not dwell in fallout shelters. Although I read the reviews, and knew going in that I would have to purchase additional hardware to use this correctly, I wish the description and marketing were more clear about this. For this, I am docking one star. Also, the velcro strap is rather a strip. No ring to loop around, making usage a bit more time consuming. The pictures show a strap with a plastic loop, which I did not receive. I won't dock a star for this, but I'm disappointed. The aluminum construction is fantastic, and the two pieces fit very well together, not much slop. The plastic parts are sturdy, and where your top tube rests is covered in soft material. No metal will touch the tube, so no scuffs to the paint on the bike. The two allen bolts used to attach the two tubes of the product are not easy to get in, almost as if the holes are not tapped. I didn't check before inserting them, so I can't confirm. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. I'll be buying a few more to mount the rest of my bikes in the garage. ... show more

I bought one for my bike (men’s) and loved it. Clear instructions for mounting the Hangar to the wall and then the bike rests sturdily on the hangar. So I bought a second one for my wife’s bike.     • Good Wall Mount, Subpar Hardware

All-around good bike mount. Stable and feels solid. But the screws are garbage; they could stand to be a little longer for better grip in the stud, if you're mounting on drywall or plywood. The screws are also flat-headed, not pan head, so they don't grip the part of the mount that actually attaches to the wall very well. They need more contact surface instead of a beveled inside head. They're also very soft. I stripped them driving them into the stud just now, and they're not fully tightened, so the mount is wiggling slightly. I have the appropriate wood screws on hand because woodworking is a hobby of mine, but do yourself a favor and get some better pan-head screws, not flathead, so that the bottom of the screw head grabs the plate properly. Two inch screws would do well, and I would suggest anything without a Phillips head drive. Maybe a hex head drive, with a socket to drive it. ... show more

I purchased this wall mount expecting that I would not like the design of the small diamond shape mount plate (not enough surface area to comfortably handle the load of the mount + bike). However, based on what i saw available on Amazon, I liked the rest of the design of this mount enough to purchase it and build a better base support to mount the product to. In my humble opinion, there is no way I would trust the drywall anchors alone to comfortably support an adult bike on this thing. You need some solid wood to screw this thing into. Instead of using the small screws in the kit, I purchased 3" brass #10 size wood screws (pack of 25 was $7 at Lowes) and a piece of 3/4" plywood that I secured to the wall on the studs. I then secured the bike mount on top of the plywood as shown in the photo through the drywall layer and into the studs behind it. Strongly recommend getting a stud finder to find your 2x4's to secure this thing to. Make sure to drill pilot holes for the screws so you don't end up snapping them or rounding off your screw heads. Another negative for me on the design of the mounting plate are the two holes on the top. They are far apart enough to actually make it very difficult for you to hit both screws into your wall stud. I saw another wall mount for bicycles with a much more secure mount plate (longer rectangular mount plate with one screw on top and one on bottom) if you don't want to go through the trouble i did with this one but I didn't like the rubber ends of that mount and adjusting the arm angles for different bikes can be a pain with that thing. My ideal bicycle wall mount hanger would have the Ibera adjustable arms with a larger wall mount plate welded to the pipe. I think this would be an easy mod for Ibera to do with their product. :) In any case, I hope this helps you guys in your decisions!
