Description

Amazing Looks and Even Better Playability The Ibanez Bass Workshop EHB1265MS is armed with an ergonomic design and hugely versatile tone, making it a coveted instrument for any bassist. This EHB comes with an ash body and an eye-catching walnut top that work together to provide a well-balanced and resonant tonal foundation. Two Bartolini BH2 humbucking pickups deliver a classic soapbar sound without any of the hum that plagues vintage pickups. Beyond that, the EHB1265MS comes with a 3-band Vari-mid active EQ for flexible tone-shaping. Your fingers will delight at the smooth playability provided by the 9-piece panga panga/walnut neck, panga panga fingerboard, and expertly dressed stainless steel frets. Other Sweetwater-approved appointments include the MR5HS bridge with adjustable string spacing, Schaller S-Locks strap lock pins, and glow-in-the-dark side dots. If you’re after a lights-out bass that shines when the lights go down onstage, look no further than the Ibanez Bass

  • Not at all “Ergonomic”!
Lesson learned… ignore YouTube reviewers. The EHB basses have a length-wise cut in the back of the upper body. If you wear the bass slightly high the length wise edge in the back of the bass pushes into the players belly. After two hours of play it starts to hurt. In the Ibanez web page about this bass it describes the side markers as luminescent. They’re luminescent but only glow for a few minutes. In regular light the side markers are hard to see and on a dark stage they will be invisible. The action of the strings is too high. When I adjusted this I got fret buzz. Neck relief had to be adjusted. At this price a proper setup should have been done before it shipped. The neck has open grain wood making for a relatively rough feel. I don’t like it. The end grain should have been filled and the neck properly finished. Again for this much money the real quality workmanship is simply not there. ... show more

  • Arrived damaged
Sure it’s a good bass but pretty frustrating when it arrives and a knob is completely broken. I sent it back a day later.
