  • Yes, worth the money for frist 6 string bass
Got it for a friend, he plays a 4 string bass and is very good. He was talking about getting a 5 string to be a better bass player. I told him then he needs a 6 string now not a 5. The scales minor and major are different and you only end up with bad habits if he keeps with a 5 string. So I won, or did I? Any way for $170.00, and I told you so, Works. Also Guitar arrived on time and fully set up and almost in tune, nice surprise. Great buy, great guitar and Yes pick ups not so good (poor) but with new flat wounds pretty good, nice neck looks to be about middle of the road for how wide, feel just a little wider then fender p bass, so easy to get use to ... show more

  • 6 strings are dope
I play occasionally at church and I was happy with my 5 strings for a while so I decided to jump to 6. Same good quality and light weight!

  • Way more premium than its price point
Build quality is phenomenal, frets are rounded well and comfortable, doesn't feel too clunky, doesn't have neck dive, and is incredibly comfortable to play. This is my first 6 string, coming from a 4 string (and tbh, still a beginner at both). I've had it for several months now, replaced the stock strings (which felt and sounded great) with some flatwounds, and the bass is crushing it! Very pleased with this purchase! ... show more

  • Great value, great quality
Great budget 6 string bass. I am a big fan of Ibanez. My first decent guitar was an Ibanez. I now own 4 Ibanez instruments.
