Disclaimer. I am not a cat. My cat eats this food. Whenever there is no wet food the cat feels hungry and acts on that hunger by eating this food. I like the brand iams and also feed it to my dog. I recommend the brand because it seems like a healthy choice for pets. If I were rich I would probably only feed my pets what food. But I'm not. Also I think the little dry is okay. So for example with my cat I give it about 1 or 2 cans of wet food a day and I leave a very small bowl of this food at all times usually. It's especially handy for overnight and since cats are nocturnal my cat will munch on this and harass me to wake up less because there's food. No do not buy this food to babysit your cat. Cats need love and other things. But this is a healthy choice. Fun fact you can research that cats especially need wet food because they need moisture in their diet for nutritional reasons. I have the world's pickiest cat, he will stick his nose up and go on a hunger strike if he doesn't like the food I give him--its an expensive quirk of his. I have been feeding him this food for about a year and he hasn't had any protest to it. His vet said it was an acceptable option though he should be eating something of a better quality. The ingredients aren't stellar but it is far better than what you can pick up at a budget store. My biggest complaint is that he has gained so much weight while eating this food. I use portion control very strictly and he rarely gets treats but he has packed on the pounds. I will have to find a different food that will not cause him to gain more weight, which really is unfortunate because this food is affordable and he loves the taste of it (probably too much). Bottom line: it is a good mid-range food, its not poor quality but it isn't high quality. After reading other reviews, this food does seem to have a confirmed weight gain issue. It seems to be a good option for picky cats that are chicken flavor kibble enthusiasts. I would recommend consulting your vet if your cat is already overweight or has special diet needs before giving them this food. ... show more

Our Orange guy apparently likes the color of the bag and the cat pictured, only kind he likes. Have tried wet food as we thought maybe that would be a treat, nope, he likes his good old dry chicken. As per cat usual, he let's you know if the bowl isn't brimming full.
