I heard the song, "Hello, My name is.." and loved it, it touched a heart string with me. So When I listened to excerpts from the other songs, I thought it was an album that was exactly how I felt & believed.. and the WAY I believed. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints and I LOVE this album. We have great artists and songs too, but Matthew's music was so uplifting to me as I drove to work, it made my day and now I am planning on sharing it with my church friends. Matthew has such a talent to put someone's life into wonderful music and this cd is exemplary of that. He has become my favorite Christian artist. I don't go to many concerts but when I got wind that he was coming to my home town I rushed over and bought several tickets so some friends could experience what I already know about Matthew, he is special. My friends discovered that fact and one is a non believer so his reaction was interesting. I know this is about Into the Light but if you get a chance to see him in concert, you won't be disappointed. He puts on a really cool, audience interacting show. Another must is Story of your Life, the first edition of this writing approach Matthew is unbelievably good at. ... show more

My favorite album!! I love all the songs on this album, but especially/bought it for “Do something!” Every time I listen to it, I think it would be perfect to kick off a sermon/series on getting people involved in SOMETHING!!

As always, I am in love with MW's newest cd release. I love the songs and the emotions & stories that go along with each. He knows exactly how to use people's personal and hugely relatable stories as a message of Christ's love, forgiveness, etc... Definitely a soundtrack I listen to on repeat. Anyone on the fence about buying it should hit the purchase button. right now. You will not be disappointed. Plus, you can't beat the price on Amazon for the MP3 cd. :) Can't wait for his next creation! :) ... show more

Every single word of every song on this album touches my heart in a special, special way! The way God uses him to string words together to create a powerful message is truly unbelievable. I bought this CD for myself and for others as well. It's def an album you would enjoy. I heard Matthew West on the christian radio station and just had to look him up on line to see where I could purchase his CD.I also learned he created his music from letters real people wrote him of the troubles in thier real life. His music will move you in a positive way and helps you realize you are no alone in your thoughts and feelings.The CD was in perfect condition I would order from this company again. ... show more
