After reading and watching the reviews, there was a lady whose video was really helpful showing you how to put this on properly and to them - thank you so much. If you're interested in knowing how to do it right the first time I suggest watching her review video. It was super easy sliding this thing on and so far the aesthetics and color are right on point to the photos shown above when purchasing. I was very happy and so was my mother. One downside was putting the metal ring on the protective case as it's a new ring and it was tight and scratched the purple case but no worries, it doesn't show much. This case is super cute, it is a two piece hard flip top case, comes with a matching patterned wrist strap, your AirPod case inserts into this case & there is a right & wrong way to insert your pods so follow the directions included, the space goes on the back for it to be able to flip open. If your like me & use your pods on multiple devices you might miss being able to push the pair button without removing your AirPod case to do so minor issue though. Being two separate pieces I’m concerned the top might pop off or it may fall out. I purchased the phone case as well, the pattern doesn’t match exactly but it’s close enough for someone who loves all things purple. ... show more
