I love this case offers 360 protection including the hinge. I like the design of the back of the case, looks like a rugged design. I like the raise protection around the outer screen and inner screen and also the camera. This case offers all the protection needed for everyday use. When you unfold the phone, the hinge cover offers some grip support when holding it while opened as long you hold it right.     • Front screen protector is the weak link

Not a fan of the plastic front screen protector. It basically immediately got dust underneath it and made the front screen look constantly gross even after cleaning both the case and screen beforehand and assembling with my hands in the microwave (the closest I'm going to get to a clean room in an apartment). After finally getting fed up and removing it (not easy) the front part of the case now doesn't have enough grip to stay in place on the front screen. Back part of the case is a totally different story, and it's rock solid, while still allowing for wireless charging. The kickstand only works in one specific way, and it's fine, although there's definitely times I'd like to use it in portrait or upside down, etc. The hinge protector and pen holder is cool, but it would be nice if you could take the pen out without first half folding the phone closed to begin with. Overall still pretty good. The already huge phone now feels like a tank with the case on, but that's what I was going for since I can't really afford to replace a nearly $2k phone at high frequency. ... show more

I did research before buying a case for the fold for because I had the full three and it was a nightmare looking for cases probably spending close to half the worth of the phone just in cases for the first 6 months. Thankfully this company and their sister company came out with this right off the bat instead of waiting 6 months for research and development like last year's model. That's why I started off with this. The only downside I can see is the edges are raised a lot which can lead to swipe gestures being unresponsive. Also the front screen protector is okay I have a pouch for my phone so I don't scratch anything but when the front screen protector gets wet it is literally unstoppable the amount of accidental touches it makes and to clean the front screen is really annoying because it extends underneath the frame and when things get stuck in there it's really hard to get them out and I don't see any way to replace the front screen other than request a replacement for the entire frame or ripping the plastic out and putting your own. Other than that I'm pretty happy I got the green color and got it at a discount but I wouldn't pay $80 for a case like this. Another company just came out with one that looks almost identical to this and the sister company but it has a thinner frame by the hinge but I haven't seen any good reviews for that case because they said that kickstand is almost unusable. Other than that pair this with a carrying pouch and your phone will be in very good condition if you want to keep it for 3 years. Update: 6 months later out of all the cases I've tried that you can find that are like this in the unicorn beetle I return to this one. I tried caseborn multiple times and it was just broken and flimsy on the hinge. I did end up taking the plastic out on the screen, just heat up the edges and use an exact a knife to peel it off and just use your own tempered glass that is probably the best combo you can use. Just the feel of the edges the volume button access to the fingerprint reader is as good as you going to get with a phone like this. Any other case has been either too slippery or too bulky or breaks when it looks rugged. I even contacted this company directly and said that the front screen was just way too easily scratched and using the warranty they sent me a whole new armor box. So I have a brand new armor box after 6 months that's good service from them. ... show more

This is a heavy duty case that feels very protective. Just make sure it is installed correctly. Clean the front screen and inside screen protector before sliding on from the side. The back can be a little finicky. Make sure the top right corner is snug under the edge. The side buttons have to be aligned correctly for it to fot right. Wireless charging also works with the case on even. Overall it's very impressive but a little expensive. ... show more

If you intend to buy this because it is sturdy, I suggest looking else where. Overall sturdiness is true. I work construction and I have actually dropped the phone with this case protecting it at waist height (~3') at least 5 times now (fumbling hands); typically on concrete floors. It loses its stars in the durability category: Bought this in August 2022 and the plastic protective screen lasted about two months before it received a crease along the width of it, doesn't impact the functionality of the screen but it is a blemish that I see every time I look at the screen. Now, the back folding stand is broken so my phone can't stand anymore using that. The stand broke when I was holding the back of it like a ring while I was watching a video with the phone opened. The two little plastic nibs that snaps into the channels to lock it just ripped right off. You would think that when they designed a "sturdy" phone case, they would make every part of it sturdy. You would be dead wrong. So. I'm 5 months into using this phone case and two key functions that I had put into consideration when I made this purchase has broken. Value for the money (and I had paid $80 for this when it first came out) is at an all time low. The only reason it gets two stars is because it was actually relatively sturdy.
