First off, I am an electrician. Welding and Ham Radio are hobbies. I have little experience in welding. Mostly High School 32 years ago. But this machine even made in China. Yes China like everything else. Packs a punch. Good beads and welds. I like that you have to pull the trigger to engage the voltage. I had to run this piece on 40 amps to get it not to burn through. But wow, it has an amazing flow about. And it doesn't feel super cheap. It is a hobby welder. It is a small box and it weighs only about 14 lbs. Not like my other hobby welder that you need a wheelbarrow to lug around. For the price you will not go wrong. I see a lot of winners out there. Oh my spool was undone, or it won't do this or that. Trust me. I only give reviews to something that out preformed my expectations. This thing did just that. Can't wait to try out the MMA/stick part of this little 120v. Machine.

As a beginner, I need a lot of direction, diagrams and steps to explain basics including feeding the wire. The spool of wire immediately came undone and I had to coil it back up to save the wire. The schematic diagram inside the machine is not decipherable. Just horrible. The manual has a lot of precautionary information but no specific information on how to change the tip, etc. The tension wheel indicates ensuring that it is set for the proper size wire but is this the outside position or the inside position of the wheel. There is something about it in the diagram but I can't tell what it is trying to say. There are a lot of unknowns, and I am looking online for clues on how to work this. Considering that safety is paramount, the manual does nothing to educate the beginner on using this unit. I would not recommend this unit for someone just trying to learn.

So I purchased this with the intention to weld a couple things around my house what not, I can say the mig settings for this little guy isn’t bad it works but it’s nothing like a miller or Lincoln. It will get the job done for small things, the stick welding settings I couldn’t get 7018 to arch even with it turn all the way up it will stick heat up but no arch. The tig setting I haven’t really used seeing you have to get a tig set up and I’m not really do to much of that type of welding at home but i would imagine it would be nice seeing the machine is so small and lite weight it can be stationed really anywhere. The mig gun that came with it not bad I say probably one of the better mini gun set ups that’s tend to come with a little buzz box welder, maybe a step up from your harbor freight welder.

La soldadura flux core el alambre sale muy rapido y no se le puede regular eso es automatico no como en oyros equipos la mma siempre hay que colocar un amperaje alto para que funcione no como en otros equipos. Soldadura 5/ 32 a 100 amperios me parece mucho de todas manera para trabajos que no sean exijentes esta bien
