However, I was under the impression that this would be a set (pair of 2), so I was quite disappointed to find that I needed to purchase a second brace. I don't get paid again until the 19th, so that only gives the product 10 days to arrive in order for me to use it. I needed to find some really nice looking gauntlets for my Renaissance Fair costume and I bought these because they looked decently high quality compared to all the other garbage that amazon offers. When I received them, I was completely surprised. They felt very nice (although they aren't real leather, they looked the part). It was a little difficult threading the string because it comes separate from the leather guards themselves, everything was great. Bought these to paint gold and use as bracers for a Mera cosplay. They were great. Comfy and nice. I wish they would have laced tighter, but they were just a couple of inches too big for me. Overall they are good quality and my only complaint being the size.

Ordered for my renaissance costume and they're perfect! They come flat in the package, and there are two. Laces included. Sturdy yet flexible enough. I would recommend wearing a cut sock or something underneath, as they get a little warm, and they can kinda slip down and rotate around your arm. Im adding a little bit of wrapping and fur underneath. No complaints here, especially for the price ... show more

Very sturdy construction, does not look or feel cheap. This was was for my son’s costume, so I replaced the laces with elastic to make it easier for him to take them on/off without help, which worked great!
