I wash it with all my other sheets and it has held up great! The zipper at the bottom is white/clear so even if the covering flap is lifted, it’s virtually undetectable. Okay, so this duvet cover is very soft and it has corner ties to hold your insert in place and it's at a good price point. BUT, I got the light grey hoping for a farmhouse feel light gray and what I got was a dark grey with purple undertones. I put it on my bed and all I could see was purple, nothing else. It has a purple hue to it and I do not like it. It's not a light gray as advertised so I was super disappointed. It looks different in person versus the pics on people's reviews I saw. That's what I based my purchase on, everyone's review pics looked so pretty with the light gray. Not so much when I got mine. Big disappointment. So if you want to sleep with Barney, the light gray is the color for you.

For $35 I haven’t found this good of quality elsewhere. It’s very soft & smooth. I have nothing negative to say about this product. Although, the ties inside for the comforter attachment are quite small & uneven but it worked. I didn’t want to but I just tied them into knots. I’ll deal with it later when I need to remove the comforter to wash it. My comforter was otherwise rather easy to insert. & Also, I bought a $74 duvet at the same time to compare the softness & I returned that one immediately after comparison because that one was not soft at all it was scratchy & not what I was looking for. I wanted grey, soft & appealing to my liking & I really got a great deal with this one. I was so excited about it I bought a medium weight down comforter to insert into it & I stay super comfortable & warm at night I just want to stay in bed all day.

A queen bed pillow is 30" long. This queen set includes pillow cases that are only 26" long. 25 after a few washes. Although the size is listed in the description, it will not accomodate a standard queen pillow. My bad for not reading, or vendor bad for including an item too small the standard? But, the material, feel and comfort are good otherwise. I just can't use part of it. too bad.
