  • Very underrated mouse!
Color: Black Size: Wired Style: Pulsefire Surge
What can I say other than this is a fantastic mouse. I was a little skeptical about it because of the price, but once I tried it out I knew this is underrated and a great value. First, this mouse is beautiful and the clicks are satisfying. The Omron switches definitely help with that. Its fairly lightweight if your looking for a pure fps type mouse. Most mice with this type of sensor are going to cost much more, let alone the beauty of it helps with that value. The braided cable is solid so far and has not been in my way at all. I have large hands and sometimes I really have to be picky. This mouse is just large enough to be comfy without being too small. I enjoy the full grip of a g602, but this one is not as wide with a nice contour to it and I have no issues here. I have been playing games like Deadside and enjoying that sensor immensely. Its a fantastic buy if you can get it for under fifty bucks and at MSRP, its still worth it. I do not use this as a daily driver, I use this as a more situational mouse for fps, but it could double for anything you want. The side buttons have a fantastic feel and the scroll button has a nice feel also. My only real gripe is the software, but since Ngenuity is in beta, this is forgivable as I am a big fan of Kingston and HyperX in general. I have faith that it will improve over time. Ngenuity has not given me any real problems and has been fairly straight forward. For once with HyperX, I feel that the build quality may not hold up forever, but I would love to see this mouse in a lightweight semi-hollow honeycomb frame, then it would have to be up there with some of the best mice available. Keep'em coming HyperX! ... show more

  • Amazing mouse -- finally free from using Razer products!
Color: Black Size: Wired Style: Pulsefire Surge
As someone who's been "stuck" repurchasing Razer Deathadder mice for years now because I could never find anything of similar size/comfortable feel this is truly a great mouse in my opinion. It's got weight but still feels light (if you are accustomed to heavy mice it may not be for you however), the clicks feel satisfying and the mouse is not bogged down by a million different buttons since for me I only need the two side buttons to be mappable for my MMO. I will say if you are looking to escape Razer mice then please seriously consider this mouse. Not to bash Razer too hard but the build quality on the Deathadder imo has gone down over the years and now feels cheap, breaking within 6 months-1 yr of general gaming use. It glides smooth on my Corsair mat and I haven't noticed any issues performance wise yet. No lag, no jittery, nothing. I also really enjoy that I can set up a profile for my MMO so when I launch the game itself the software recognizes it and swaps over to that profile. The clicks are a little louder than my old Deathadder I feel but that's perfectly fine with me they aren't distracting in any way. The RGB customization on the mouse is fantastic -- you can set the colors, the pattern, etc. HOWEVER, be forewarned that you should definitely seek out the NON-WINDOWS 10 STORE version of the NGenuity software. **Officially** they will recommend the Windows 10 store version of it (obviously) but I've read a few too many horror stories of people running into performance issues with the Win10 store version vs the old style software, which allows you to do everything you'll probably want to/need to do in it anyway + still updated the firmware in my mouse when I hooked it up. Just a little heads up and hopefully saves a headache for anyone thinking about buying this mouse. ... show more

  • Great mouse for gaming.
Color: Black Size: Wired Style: Pulsefire Raid
I have always wanted to use a slightly larger mouse and this fits great. Also having the side buttons is great for additional usage for certain games without running out of keyboard keybinds. The mouse also glides smoothly and feels responsive. Would recommend.

  • FPS Mouse like I've never experienced.
Color: Black Size: Wired Style: Pulsefire FPS Pro
I am going to preface this with the fact that I am a palm grip mostly. I've seen criticism over the large "hump" of this mouse and that may factor in if you have smaller hands. I do not. It is a slight adjustment to how you maybe hold or grip the mouse from other mouses but within 10 minutes I was popping heads like I never have. I am a competitive player in Rainbow Six Siege. When I say this I do not mean that I am a pro player, I said competitive. I take the game maybe too seriously at times and perform reasonably (Ranked Silver Y3S3 then GoldY4S4) on PC. Up until purchasing this mouse I used a Logitech G502 which is a relatively heavy mouse. I always used it without the additional weights provided but it was sort of something I just lived with for the extra buttons. My G502 decided for me that it was time to move on because the sensor has been dipping out on me after just a year. I decided to hunt for a Finalmouse Ultralight Phantom for the weight, precision, and so on. In the mean time I bought this mouse until I could find one at a more reasonable price. In order to get a feel for what I lighter mouse feels like with only the two side buttons, this is where I landed. HyperX Pulsfire FPS Pro RGB: Pros: This mouse is light-ish at 95g and right out of the box, after the software was downloaded and my mouse profile set up, I was amazed out how accurate and precise the sensor felt. Compared to one of the most popular gaming mice ever (G502) I was blown away at how much better this mouse felt over that one. The functions of the buttons are limited comparatively but the button presses feel tactile and incredibly satisfying. The cable for the mouse is one of the best. The cable on my G502 constantly drove me insane with out stiff it was and how much of a pain it was to drag my mouse sometimes. The Pulsefire FPS Pro does not have a paracord cable but it is probably the best mouse cable I've felt (or haven't really felt for that matter) and it's great. I have ordered a paracord for it only because I discovered them both at the same time, but for a person who is not willing to self-mod their mouse, it is a great stock cable/cord. The materials feel excellent and the construction just feels solid and not at all cheap. Cons: As like most things... there are a couple of flaws for me with this mouse. The first is very minor and is really not a definitive flaw as it is a user preference sort of thing but the mouse scroll wheel while feeling solid in construction and durable I wish it had a little more tactile response when scrolling. There were a few times where it felt like it need a little more resistance. Again, totally user preference and not a flaw that I would use to say is or should deter you from purchasing this and giving it a shot. If all that the software isn't I do like the DPI shift in the way that it allows you to set a color indicator for your mouse to flash so, as long as you remember what color is for what, you can associate that color to your DPI setting. Additionally, you can change the number of DPI profiles you have as well, so if you stick with one game or one DPI for all then you can set it up to only have 1 DPI setting. This is addressable with up to 5 different DPI settings. The last and 2nd flaw has nothing to do with the mouse per-say but the software... It's simple, un-intuitive, and just feels under developed. The RGB between the mouse wheel and the logo is not individually addressable (not a huge thing but would be nice), the constant need to click apply after tuning your "user profile" on the mouse every time you change something is annoying. The largest issue I have with the software is the fact that every time I have restarted my computer I have had to go into the the program to apply my profile with my lighting and DPI preferences... You are allowed multiple profiles but I have had to delete the "default" and other profiles (leaving only 1) to ensure that my mouse doesn't return to the default EVERY SINGLE TIME I reboot. I have purchased my Finalmouse and I had every intention of just selling this one on Ebay after I got the Ultralight Phantom but I am going to hang on to it and paracord it and use it as a back-up because it is an amazing mouse that is only slightly hamstringed by its less than perfect software leaving it at 4 stars (4.5 if I could do that). ... show more
