Tried to surf for TWO years with my kids 4'4" board. Bought fat sacks, wave shappers, the whole works just to be disapointed when I still couldn't surf the wave. This board is so easy to get up on and has so much push. I am a beginner but can have a lot of fun slashing on the wave. I probably won’t ever be able to do any crazy tricks on it, but it is stable, confidence inspiring, and a ton of fun to learn on. Highly recommended for beginners and bigger guys. For reference I’m 5’11” 210 lbs. Edit to add: my wife is 5’4” 130 lbs and loves this board, too, as all she wants to do is have a mellow cruise. ... show more

Nice, big board. Super easy to get up for learners. Once kids get better they move on to smaller board as this one tends to shoot the lightweights forward. But Dad keeps riding this board for a smooth, easy ride. Great for big guys too that may tend to go off the back of the wake on a small board. Overall great board to have on your boat. ... show more

We have really liked this board for the adult surfers in our family. We started out on shorter boards and were not able to actually "surf" until we purchased this longer board.

This is my first summer with this board. I love this board. Great beginner board. Keep in mind, this is a longboard at 5 foot 9 inches. This does not ride like a skim board. It is easy to get up on, and easy to find that sweet spot in the wake. You will easily be throwing the rope back to the boat. If you are riding a boat with a smaller wake, or a larger wake you will be very happy with this board. ... show more

This is the best board for beginners or all sizes. I’ve had my 10 yr old nephew 70 lbs, his 13 yr old sister, my wife, a 130 pound friend, a 200 pound buddy, and me a 300 pound moose all wake surf. It is a very stable and great board to learn on. Now I’m working on dropping the rope!

This is a great board. This is great for beginners as it is incredibly stable and allows beginner riders to get up with relative easy and is stable once in position and allows riders to get properly positioned once in the wake. It also seems to be a great board for larger riders given the stability. Though it's long, you can do basic carving with ease. ... show more
