I bought this as a birthday present for my dad to take hunting. He took it on a trial run up north and said he was impressed with how lightweight it was. He said it was warm and comfortable but that he didn't think it would be something he could use this winter as the temp only got down into the 40s and it was perfect. (He is 67, 6' and 145# of muscle so his lack of body fat is definitely something to take into consideration). He also said someone on the trip had an almost identical bag (different brand) and paid twice as much as I did. I'd say it's a pretty good value for the money if you're doing 3/4 season camping. If you're looking for a deep winter bag, definitely go with down filling but be prepared to pay a lot more.

Very happy with performance. Was comfortably warm at 25 degrees F. Plenty of room for my 5' 9" 200 lb frame. Found the two way zipper likes to unseat itself easily if you pull zipper all the way to end of line. Not a deal breaker. Excellent loft, and no cold spots.

At 4 pounds a little heavy for backpacking. I bought it anyway. Kept me toasty and the mummy bag cinches perfectly to allow just enough space to breathe. Perfect for me.

Went camping and it dropped to 10 degrees. I had a thin air stress, foam pad, and the sleeping bag. I was surprised in the morning when I crawled out. I would have never guessed the temp. Worked great especially for the price.

I bought 2 of these. One for my 12 year old son and one for my husband. My son is in boys scouts and has taken this sleeping bag on 2 camp outs. The first camp out the temperature reached 21 degrees. He and my husband both were very warm in their sleeping bags. My husband had to come out of some layers to cool off through out the night. The second campout, the temperature reached 9 degrees. I attended this particular campout and I had on thermal undies. At one point, I unzipped a section of my sleeping bag so I could get some cool air. I also took off my beanie. They compressed well and were light weight to carry in on a back pack camp out. The company sent directions on how to care for your bag. It came in very handy because we are all new to camping out. My son is about 4’10” and weighs about 90lbs. We got him the regular size. My husband is 6’3” and weighs about 215. I am 5’4” and weighs about 145. I ordered us the regular size as well. I fit comfortably in the bag and have room to move around. My husband also fits into the bag and doesn’t have as much room but he is able to move around as needed. I purchased these bags because of the price. Since using these bags, a couple other families have purchased this brand for their kids. It is a great bag for a great price.

The bag itself is well made and has a premium feel to it. On the other hand the fill within the bag seems to be low and has many cold spots in it. I took it out for 167 miles of hiking last year. Recommended temperature rating 45, 35 and 25. You'll be comfortable within the low forties but will start feeling cold in the low thirties and finally its going to suck after that in the twenties. I risk trying to take it close to zero degrees.
