    • Plant spaces are too close together
Plant slots are not round and water pump is really low quality so before i put my new plants in it I am replacing the water pump with a better quality one or I risk losing my plants when this pump fails and it will according to other reviews .I expected some clay pepples or rock wool at least since it was a kit and For the mo ey should not have required me to purchase additional plant holding net puts or rock wool but I'm trying to make it work bI like the soze of the tank but the plant slots should be spaced farther apart I will only he able to use about half of the 30 slots and there's no way to attach a grow light unless I build a cage for it since I cant clip any lights on top or sides for I door use I don't see this producing heads of lettuce or even more than strawberry I definatly could use a little cage around it but I'll build one out if a square tomato cage or 1 inch pvs with corners to mount griw lights honestly it should be about half the price but since I can't make one myself it will work for now. Also IT only came with white sponge squares and won't hold round net pots or even clay pebbles THE lmslots are oblong and will require larger roots to reach inside tower fir water to keep them wet Poorly designed as far as function.the slots should be round and angled but these are oblong and have a flat bottom so plants will need to well established for it to keep roots wet with teeny noisy pump included . Hoping a better pump and pool noodles will help hold plant because sponges are going to grow algea exposed to lights im afraid. Ill update again in a few months and hope it grows enough plants to actually make an e tire salad. Should have sent it back but determi Ed to make it work somehow ... show more

    • Excellent starter hydroponics system
Just got started on hydroponics and this system was ideal. It is easy to assemble and comes with everything to grow vegetables and herbs from seeds. I placed in indoors and used a lamp with white light LEDs and I must say that it was a great contraption and you don't even need a green thumb!

    • Doesn’t work, plants die from too much water
It was not the easiest item to put together. The photos are not much help. Their video states this is a quiet operating pump. It really isn’t. My seedlings germinated very quickly; however the plants died shortly after germination. I have tried multiple versions of seeds. The Thyme seeds are still growing however they are slowly dying. Unfortunately by the time this happens it’s too late to return the item. I do not recommend this version. I believe the speed and amount of water coming out of the PVC tubing is drowning the plants. ... show more

This is a nice small garden. Not a bad set up for the price. Easy to set up, put the pieces together, add some water and basically you're set. Choose your seeds and placement with ideas on growth and later draping or climbing plants and it's easy to use. i love the sounds coming from it. Running water like a waterfall or stream with constant moving water is a very relaxing sound in addition to the plant growth. plants are growing nicely in this garden, some I'm going to have to move to a larger set up as they age, but overall, it's a nice set up and it makes starts for other larger systems grow nicely. ... show more
