I'm using this with a steamer that pushes 500psi at 190°f. It can hold up to that punishment, so I'm very happy with it. So much faster than a pump sprayer!

    • Leaks within a week, needs replacement within 3 months
Don’t expect this Hydro-Force sprayer to last long. I’ve had mine for only a few months, and it’s already basically trash. The male/female swivel fitting started leaking within the first week. When I initially pressurize the sprayer, it sprays solution from the fitting, then continues to drip constantly while under pressure. Now the solution outlet itself leaks a steady stream whenever the system is pressurized. I literally have to shut the pressure off as soon as I stop spraying or it will shoot solution across a customer’s house. And yes, I know how to properly set the pressure. I’ve been professionally cleaning carpet for nearly 30 years and have used Hydro-Force sprayers for decades. They used to last for years with normal maintenance. Now I’m replacing them every few months. I don’t know if this is specifically a Hydro-Force manufacturing issue or just the result of cheaper fittings and components being used, but the quality has clearly gone downhill. Professional equipment should not start leaking within a week and be essentially unusable after only a few months. These used to be dependable professional tools. At this point, they feel like disposable equipment being sold at professional-equipment prices. I’d look at another brand or distributor. ... show more

    • Overpriced
I own 4 of these now. They are fine tools and last a few years until they stop working in one of several ways. Replacing individual parts is hit and miss to get them working again so plan on replacing them approx 2 years if your a daily professional user. I only use for carpet cleaning chems, no acids or harsher strippers. Wish there was competition to nick the price down because it's so over priced for the siphon block (25$) sprayer (50$) hose (12$) and plastic shell. I do have 3 broken ones with excess sprayers and eventually the siphon block wears out, replacing the spring and o rings internally is a temp fix that may or may not work any second. Somehow replacing the entire siphon block still didn't fix 2. So here I am buying yet another eventually paperweight but its a necessary evil. ... show more
