It's difficult to use while driving, as it is a 2-hand operation to open, sip and close each time, unless it's not important to keep your coffee hot. Also, the cleaning of the cup after use is rediculous. The entire cap must be disassembled for cleaning. It's just too much trouble to use, and forget about using it on a road trip. I n contrast, a $5 insulated tumbler from the W store has a double lid and keeps my beverage hot or cold almost all day. There are no opening or closing to do in use. Just fill and go. It's ironic that this insulated beverage container costs many times the cost, yet sits in the back of the cabinet while the inexpensive one is used every day. It doesn't look nicer or insulate quite as well, but the convenience and accessibility of my coffee whilst driving is what it's there for. It's more of a new style thermos than a useful drink container. I hope that they improve the design of this cap. Frankly, I HATE the one provided.

I like this brand and it's the perfect size for the amount of coffee I usually drink but the top does not seal. It drizzles coffee out so I can't use it as I intended to (I wanted to take it with me to work in my lunch bag). Just know that the leak is pretty small in comparison to other coffee cups with lids I have bought in the past so I am happy with that much. Overall I still like it and will happily use it. It's also awesome at staying warm as this brand always does.

I have been using this for 6 months I am very happy with this purchase. The detachable parts are easy to take apart and put back for cleaning. It is convenient to carry around and keeps coffee hot/cold for a long time. I thought I would make coffee at home more now that I have my own flask, but I unfortunately still pay extra for the convenience of someone else making my drink for me. One thing is that you have to remember to clean the flask when you as soon as you're done (especially after filling it with any drink that has dairy) but you would have to take the cap apart and clean so there is no lingering odor. A little tedious but its ok. Also, don't put hot water/fizzy drinks in it and leave it in your bag because the pressure would cause the flask to leak. I learned the hard way on a plane and my laptop was in the bag. Overall, I really like it. Its convenient and just the right size. But I might get a different lid other than the flex sip cap though.

This is our fifth hydro flask. We used previous ones daily for several years and would still be using them if my children didn't lose them ;). With that said, I keep coming back b/c they are great. They keep water hot or ice frozen all day even in the car. If you use for coffee and pour it hot, you will need to open the lid to drink b/c your coffee will stay blazing hot for hours. Even with the lid open, mine is hot for at least an hour. These are Made in Oregon, USA :)

All you people complaining that it’s difficult to clean the lid must have something hing wrong with you. It takes maybe 20 seconds to dismantle, clean and reassemble. The product is made from premium materials and well made. Get the straw lid too and this can be the only cup you need, I like having an iced drink and not having the ice melt in two minutes

The new lids need to be checked before you put hot drinks in them. I have two of the new lids on my other hydro flask that were purchased separately from my bottles but I bought this one for the hubs so he would stop stealing mine but we were on our way to work and he had put it in the center conceal area since it’s suppose to be leak proof. We found out it was not half way to work that the lid is not sealing properly and had a puddle of coffee all over. We love the new lids but we will have to buy another lid separately so we can avoid anymore leaks. Fill the cup and test the top when it’s sealed cuz we put out of the return window to get a replacement but overall live hydro flasks new products that I don’t have an troubles with
