My dad and grandmother came to visit and one day my grandma was complaining about her coffee being cold almost as soon as we could give her a fresh hot cup. On a whim, I ordered this bottle (I really like my larger Hydroflask water bottles). It improved all of our lives 10-fold. No longer were we constantly asked to reheat the coffee, and no longer was my grandmother disappointed in the heat of her coffee. Unlike the Ember she used before the pandemic, no one had to worry about charging this bottle. She would brag about this bottle almost daily at her local coffee shop. One day, we decided to use the bottle to keep her strain place for her dinner milk, but she was confused and told us several times she didn’t want her milk to be hot, not understanding that it keeps hot drinks hot & cold drinks cold. So, I bought her a light blue one for her milk. It was pretty easy for her to understand that the black one keeps her coffee hot and the light blue one keeps her milk cold. Great product, great design, does the job. Keeps my coffee piping hot for at least a couple hours and warm for an additional couple hours. Better than similar products from competitors like Yeti whose 120z Rambler with "Hot Shot" cap are comically bulky compared with this efficient and compact design from Hydro Flask. Despite holding the exact same amount of liquid, the Yeti Rambler with "Hot Shot" cap is 3 inches taller and 2 inches wider. You cannot find this size on the HydroFlask website anymore so finding it here was great. Love the new style of lid. Keep the lid instructions in case you ever disassemble it for cleaning. - it’s not the easiest to put back together.
