This is a quality bladder at a very reasonable price. Everything works well and there are no leaks or funny tastes. I bought this as a replacement for my Camelback Classic 70 oz. Unfortunately, this bladder is slightly wider and shorter than the old one an is therefore harder to insert into the Classic after filling to 70 oz. It also has more technology than the old one that I really don't need but is probably good for the average user: the drinking tube is insulated, the bite valve has a cover, and also the bite valve has an open/close position.

Ordered this for my boyfriend to use at Disney. This was by far the best thing we brought for the trip. Better than the collapsing water bottles!! This was awesome, I ended up ditching my water bottle and sharing with him. Stays so cold even in 100 degree Florida weather. He just slipped it in his backpack and filled it up every now and then. The tubing was long enough to use comfortably, but not obnoxiously long. We followed the directions for first time cleaning (to get rid of the plastic smell) and it worked like a charm. Some baking soda and water and let it sit for about a day or so. Never once tasted or smelled like plastic again.

I ordered three of these for several hour hike in Kentucky over spring break. I fill them in the hotel, put them in the hydration pack section of our backpacks and place them in the vehicle. After hour 45 minutes drive into the mountains, we arrived at our destination and my backpack was completely soaked. I left that one behind and proceeded with my 7-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son. My son's backpack I started showing signs of being wet about a hundred yards down the trail, so we backtracked and took his bladder out as well. The only place I can see these leaking was where the tube connects to the bladder. The bladder itself held water, but it was leaking in that general vicinity, so maybe the connection did not come with a good seal. I considered sending these back, but I just threw them away. I've ordered the green military style before and I will go back to that style going forward.

I love this little thing! It accompanied me on multiple hikes in the Arizona Red Rocks. I didn’t have any issue with a plastic taste; I rinsed with Dawn and let it set overnight. Just make sure to properly align the screw top lid and you’ll be leak-free!

Seems ok after a couple of uses. The one downside is the hose is very stiff - I replaced it with a more flexible hose.
