  • tube for gasline is smaller than the OEM part
Tube for gas line is smaller (1/4 inch) than the OEM tube (1/2 inch). Had pepcock installed onto the gas tank and the gas line was too large for this part. Had to make an emergency trip to buy another new gas line that was 1/4 inch so this would fit. The other end that goes to the fuel pump is very hard to get on but was able to force it onto the fuel pump to make this part work. As you can see in the pictures that the OEM has a larger ring on the end of the tube to fit the standard 1/2 inch gas line and this part has 2 very shallow rings which does not fit the standard 1/2 inch gas line. As for shipping, they use UPS SurePost which totally STINKS!! Spent 2 hours trying to locate my package as it wouldn't have arrived until Monday and needed my bike for this weekend. UPS showed it in 2 locations after they created the USPS label. During the transfer it was sent to a post office an hour east instead of to my home Post Office 10 miles away. This seems to always happen with UPS SUREPOST only. Spend the little bit extra and ship straight UPS and save us problems. It is not the first issue with UPS Surepost. Last time they lost a car part and cost be almost $200 in car rental fees because the part went all over the east coast before they found it and got it back to me. ... show more

  • Does not fit description
Advertised to fit raptor 350. It will bolt into tank as normal but the extended stem makes the valve switch not line up with the opening in the plastics. So, it will work if you really want it to but it'll be a hassle to switch between the different modes. I returned it and found what I believe is the correct one with the shorter stem. There are many listings in Amazon advertising these to fit raptor 350s so this isn't the only seller advertising this part that way. ... show more

  • Dissatisfied
Haven’t installed it yet. Honestly, I’m considering returning it or ditching it if I can find an authentic stock part replacement. I’m really not thrilled about how short the main gas supply line is in comparison to the original, stock part. Essentially, it means there’s nearly zero reserve fuel. If you’ll notice, the supply line to feed the carb is much shorter, too - which means having to install a longer feed tube. Which equals an increased risk in snagging it and damaging your fuel supply. I’ll give it a shot since the bike I have is old and it’s been difficult to find parts (I’ll update my review after installation) but I’m already noticing red flags about this part and thought I should share. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Short reserve
When my OEM petcock broke I ordered this with low expectations due to the low cost. After 4 months it has been absolutely perfect. It fit my DRZ400 tank and has not leaked. Installation was easy and took about 10min. The only down side is the reserve straw is very short so if you hit that level you need gas NOW! ... show more

  • Great replacement PetCock for 1988 Moto 4 Yamaha 350
The main reason I was changing my Petcock out was I’m doing a complete tune up on a 1988 Moto 4 Yamaha 350. I have replaced oil filter, oil, air filter w air filter oil, fuel filter, fuel line, battery, intake manifold, carburetor, spark plug, Master cyclinder, brake shoes and pads along with bleeding brakes with new fluid. Also new indicator lights and headlight bulbs. The Petcock is way easier to turn than the original and doesn’t leak. I would recommend. ... show more

  • A piece if crap. This is not worth it. Go rebuild the factory one.
I ride a 2001 xvs 1100, carburetor. I was riding on the highway and all of a sudden I felt the bike bogging out. I knew it was a fuel problem, it felt like it was not getting enough fuel. I immediately thought because the side of the petcock was smaller than the original I need to get the factory one back in. When I took this one out, the mesh had fallen off some how, if I never followed my instincts eventually my carbs & fuel filter would be clogged. I ordered a rebuild kit for the original now I have no issues. My advice is go rebuild the factory petcock it cost less that $20. I dont write reviews but I'm pissed. ... show more

  • It works and doesn't leak but where hose goes is a little smaller than stock..
Works but fuel line hookup was a little small compared to the stock size. But was able to make work with a little smaller hose and no more leaks..
