Sturdy and looks great. There are a lot of parts to put together but the step by step instructions made assembly very easy. I did not need a drill and everything was perfectly lined up. I like that the drawers are not heavy. Comes with a very nice dual use screwdriver, and an allen wrench (I did not see the allen wrench at first, it is in with a section of screws in the cellophane). This desk was easy to assemble and is made very well. It came with an actual screwdriver with handle. It took me about an hour to build solo. I enjoyed this desk so much I bought a different kind for my desktop. I highly recommend this product.

Desk looks good and is fun to put together. Light strip on the desk is any led strip you can get anywhere and with the USB connections on the desk you can add more. The drawers are just cloth but are sturdy enough. Will the desk last 50 years?
