After the introduction of some uninvited flies in my kitchen, I ordered this device, hang it in my kitchen, and turn it on! What happened next is akin to some Greek classical tragedy. The device beckoned the flies like the Sirens did the sailors, they came in droves attracted by the inaudible to my ears, but surely melodious, symphony emanating from the light in this artefact. The flies were led to their tragic end in no time, leaving my kitchen empty and my heartless boyfriend fiendishly satisfied by such devastation. PS: I deducted 1 point for the gruesome pop and burnt smell that follow the demise of any "juicy" fly. 😱 ... show more

Works great so far and comes with a spear bulb. Can't complain dor the price a deal. Update: Bought it in Oct 2022 and we have now beginning Jan 2023 and it stopped working. I thought the light stopped and replaced it with the spare that came with it and still nothing. Just stopped after couple months. I have a different one that i bought in May 2021 and still works with the same light inside of it. You get what you pay for. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This thing is amazing. I have a TERRIBLE mosquito problem at my complex. I received this Tuesday. I should have had it Sunday but UPS sucks. Anyways I put this on my patio, within minutes I was no longer being eaten alive by them. I would sit out back for 5-10 min and come in itchy with 10-15 bites. Now I can go out and I don’t get bit at all. It’s not very loud like some of the other reviews said. It only pops loudly when a big bug gets in there. Normal mosquitos don’t make any noise. I wouldn’t leave this out where it can get wet but if it’s for indoor or covered porch, you’re good! The only downfall is the packaging. The give you an extra light bulb with it and the box it doesn’t have any thing to hold the bulb securely. The bulb is wrapped in a thin pad, but when I took it out of the box I heard the bulb make noise. I changed the bulb just to see if it was broken and it wouldn’t turn on. The way UPS handles packages, mixed with the way it was packed it was bound to be broken. I haven’t had this product long so I’ll update this review if the zapper/ my one bulb doesn’t last long. BTW in the video I posted, it was killing mosquitos. I just wanted to show how quite it was! ... show more
