This is a wonderful tree saddle which I find to be nearly perfect in all respects. First of all it is of very robust construction & it should last forever. It's easy to use and adjust & it has a strong quick release main buckle & the leg straps are easily adjustable. It has 6 large side loops (3 on each side) to enable attaching anything you might need for a long stay aloft or for tools, etc. Perhaps best of all the whole thing is STRONG & all critical parts are very well reinforced to make it as safe to use as any such device could be. I cannot find any part of it that could fail in use. Sitting up in a tree is inherently dangerous so its solid construction is appreciated. I will use this with my swing plate block & tackle to make ascending and descending my favorite tree as easy as possible & I will also use a secondary safety rope with a prusik loop & a figure eight device to make self rescue possible if something does go sideways. The fabric seat is, I think, waterproof nylon and it is not insulated, so I will use a self inflating foam pad to keep my butt warn. LOL. The bottom line here is that this is a first class tree saddle that has been made to a high standard of quality and safety & IMHO it has easily earned 5 stars & I believe it is worth every dine of its price

I got this to leave up at hunt camp so that I don't need to pack up my primary saddle and haul it to/from camp. So, a few things...first...I like it. It's quite comfortable. But it also took a lot of adjusting. Because, secondly, all of the straps are extremely long. I am 6'1" and roughly 200lb, so I'm not huge, but I'm not exactly petite. The straps are FAR too long for me...to the point that I cut some length off of all of them and will still have plenty of room to adjust even if I gained 50lb. If you leave the straps that long, they're ungainly and flap about. The yoke style should straps are comfortable and fit me well. I like that the crotch straps are step-through...not having a buckle/connection to make eliminates some of the fiddle factor and increases safety. Forgetting to hookup your crotch straps isn't good...ask me how I know... The side pockets are spacious and hold plenty of gear. I rappel out of the tree, and my 40' rope easily fits. One interesting feature is the ability to hook a top tether to the back of the yoke, like a traditional tree stand safety harness. I may try that out up at camp in a couple of weeks. Overall I'm pleased.

It is built strong, which is pretty important for a tree saddle!. Good stitching, heavy material. There are several extra attachment points for gear. It is easy to put on. It doesn't wrap around your seat and up the back as much as some, so depends on what you want. I am new to saddle hunting, so not sure really how to compare to others.

For something off brand and a lower price, this saddle is impressive in quality and features. I like that the fabric is that felt-like quiet stuff. The zippers aren't quiet, however. The attachment method for the pouches is MOLLE which means you can easily customize this. There is a third strip of MOLLE loops that are unused which further adds customization. It has a very wide seat making for high comfort in the tree. Good stuff!

It seems like it ok,and a decent product for a value, but it is not!!! Second sit, shifted slightly, heard a pop and I slipped down a bit. Bridge strap stitching tore from saddle along an entire seam and started along another. If this is quality after 4 hours in stand, what else is compromised and unsafe??? Do not put yourself in danger to save $100!

This is a good quality tree saddle. These do require a little bit of agility. I have experience with using climbing harnesses and I found using this similar to that. It takes adjusting for a good fit. Make sure you do this on the ground first. It is comfortable to wear. I use it with a platform. Using one of these isn't without its risk, but when anchoring off it feels very secure. I have hung from it, and it held my 140lb weight no problem. It gives me the ability to move around the tree to get the perfect shot. I use it in a tree with sparse branches and it worked well.
