Once I received them, they fit well and appeared to be of good quality so, I then purchased a second pair with the 600 gram insulation. Have been happy with both pairs so far this deer season, using the appropriate ones depending upon how cold the mornings have been. Comfortable to wear, allow different thicknesses of socks and don't slop around on your feet.

They seem well made. They will keep my feet dry when out hunting in wet and rain. I will resubmit review after using them in some mud and rain but they are thick and should be good. The snap on the back and the kick stub to kick them off are nice touch.

These boots are absolutely fantastic! Honestly, I liked them so much that I have already ordered a second pair with heavier Insulation for colder weather. My hunting boots that were similar to this got caught on a fence row and ripped. They now leak in my feet are always wet and once they are wet, they get cold and there’s no coming back from that. I needed a new pair so I ordered these to replace my damaged ones. My other ones were a different brand, something I bought in a big box store. They were not nearly as good of quality as this brand is. They were big, heavy and clunky. Although these are still large, they’re not nearly as heavy or difficult to walk in and don’t seem quite as bulky as the other pair that I had. I’m pretty sure I paid the same for that other pair as I did for these, and they were not nearly as good of quality or as comfortable. Those ones required quite a bit of break-in and never did really feel comfortable on my feet. They always rubbed the back of my heels and they required new insoles be put in them right away when I bought them because the stock ones were so uncomfortable. That’s not the case with these Hunthor boots. They are broken in and comfortable to wear right out of the box, no need to replace the insoles or anything. They have a nice felt lining inside that makes them very comfortable against your legs. I love the adjustable buckle on the back so that you can make them tighter or looser to fit your leg properly. The glues and stitching on these all appear to be more than sufficient to create a quality and hopefully lasting product. The price is fair, they won’t hold your scent so they’re great for deer hunting and will also work for yardwork on those wet or muddy days. They look good, but when it comes to hunting gear, it’s all about the warmth, dryness and comfort. They certainly check all three of those boxes.

I'd never heard of this brand before buying these boots, but they are hands-down my absolute favorite winter boots now. I get very cold feet and hands when I'm outside, even when I wear multiple layers and supposedly "insulated" boots/gloves, but these are the first footwear EVER to keep me warm in the winter. Snow boots, thick socks, nothing else comes close. These? I can traipse around in the snow (without slipping, btw - the knobby bottoms provide EXCELLENT traction) for hours in these and my toes are nice and toasty warm. I don't know what they lined them with but they're comfy, cozy, completely waterproof and they feel AMAZING. Truly the best outdoor work boots I've ever had the pleasure of owning. Oh, and they fit to size, too, even on my massive size 14 feet. Super duper happy with these.

I love these boots. I thought I hated cold rainy weather, but I just had the wrong footwear. The boots seem well made. I like the rugged soles and aggressive tread. The straps in the back are great for cinching up to your calves for a custom fit. The heel height seems natural to me, and they are easy to walk in. The rubber upper goes until slightly above the ankle and then they are neoprene like a wetsuit above that. The first time I tried them I wore them barefoot and it was slightly panic-inducing trying to get them back off. With socks it's no big deal; there is a solid ledge on the heel that makes removal easy. They were a little tight on my thick feet at first but after wearing them for an hour or so, they broke in no problem. I used them for some yard work in 6-10 inches of water at about 50 F and my socks were pretty much completely dry after a couple hours.

This is my first pair of Hunthor boots and I am impressed with the quality and durability of the boots. They are leak proof, comfortable, and warm. The fit is accurate. The sole is contoured and very comfortable. There is plenty of room in the shoe and they have a wide width. They are all season boots with a nice tread on the bottom of the boot. They are a very good value.
