We're a hunter boots family - have been for years. Just got my daughter a new pair about 3 weeks before camp. When she came home she said the boots weren't comfortable b/c the insoles were pulling up at the heel. Planned to exchange but missed the return date. I shouldn't have ordered them as early as i did. We'll continue to buy Hunter but we're disappointed by this - we'll have to find new insoles that fit inside well and aren't too thick (or they'll be too small). I have the same boots...LOVE how short they are (because i'm short and the tall ones hurt/pinch when i bend my knees)! I get compliments on this color all the time!!

March 18, 2020: My boots came in! I wear a size 9 wide in women. I have calves that are 16-17 inch. depending if they are flexed or not. I bought the size 10, after hours researching different product reviews online. I wanted to wear socks so I thought the 10 would have space. It worked ! I put them on without socks and my foot had lots of space. With the socks my toes still have space but still fit fine. I have semi flat feet and my foot felt cushioned too. It was a little snug at the calf when standing but I could still tuck in my pants so they would not get wet. I walked outside in the rain, and inside a commercial building and had good traction. My feet were warm. The boots were comfortble. I had to sit down to remove them using both hands. But the yellow is beautiful and bold. I love this boot!

I am very pleased with this boot, I am normally a size 9, but I had to opt for a size 8 in this boot. It's not to tight around the calf, shoe witdth is perfect, style is awesome and it is a solid made boot. I was reluctent to pay for the cost for them at first, so I shopped around a bit. After trying lower priced Yellow boots without satisfaction, I took a chance on the Hunter Brand....I am extremely glad I did.

I usually wear a size 10.5 shoe. I order an 11 and they were HUGE. They creased and clunked around when I tried them in. Order a 10 and they first perfectly, with room for thicker socks.
