I was a bit nervous getting these when there was no reviews but I'm super happy I did! I'm an adult but I have small feet and need to wear kids shoes a lot. I can usually fit into a 5 in adults or a 4 in kids. Since these were kids I was a worried my calves might not fit into them with enough room for the hunter boot liners I also bought. However the liners fit well and the boots are not tight at all even with the liners. The largest part of my calf is about 13" and the description says the calf size is 13" but the actual hunter website says kids size 5 max calf size is 13.9" and that seems more correct since they fit me very well. ... show more

To save money, I thought I’d try the kids boots. I’m somewhere between a 6 and a 7 depending on the shoe so I ordered these in size 5 (girls 6). They did fit nicely and I liked the leg height (I’m 5’3”) which hit about 3” below the knee. Unfortunately they were a little snug on my calf. I do not have big legs and do not have a problem with boots being tight on my calves normally, but these just didn’t work for me. They WOULD fit over leggings and skinny jeans but they just weren’t comfortable enough on my calf to keep. I will be sending these back and investing in the actual adult size, but I think that’s it’s worth a shot to try them if you are considering. I wish these would have worked for me and they fit perfectly everywhere else. On a side note - I got the military red which wasn’t as bright red as the picture. They were a bit more on the brown side of red if that makes sense so be prepared if you go for the military red. Good luck to you adults with tiny feet - I hope these work for you! ... show more

I am a size 7 in women's and it fit a bit tight around my calves. But overall great fit! I love these and honestly such a great deal for women if you do have smaller feet & can save a few bucks in the kids section.

Ordered these for our grand-daughter I already knew that Hunters run a hair small since our daughter wore them all the time. We order a size larger than what the she wears and there are perfect with a thicker pair of socks and she still has room to grow. A+A+A+A+A+

I am a small adult - 5 feet even. I have small feet and a high instep. In European size, I wear a 35.5-36. I had originally purchased a pair of Hunter boots in an adult size 6; not only was the shaft way too wide but the boots were so high that when I walked, the rim of the boot dug into the back of my knee. In a kid's boot, the quality is certainly maintained (not always the case with high-end shoes or clothing in a kid's size). $80 for rain boots is pricey (I can't imagine spending that on a growing child) but I am very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

I ordered this for me, and I’m an adult. I’m petite at 5’1 and 118 lbs. fits better than the adult version. Just don’t love the reflective patches on the back, but I will deal with it. Price is great! I love Hunter boots. This is my second pair.

Just FYI: The red is much brighter than the picture suggests. It is a bright fire truck red, not the deep blood red seen above.
