Normally wear a boot that costs between $120-250 and this boot will take them on any day. I will have to say you will not beat this boot for the money! Love the boots lots of grip nice tread and light not hot and some what water proof good quality for the price.I have used them about 12 hikes and so fare no complants.I would recommend airing out the boots after opening the box because of gas off of the materials harsh rubber plastic smell for a couple days

I use it as my work boot it just needed extra foam (for me). It's really comfortable and extra lightweight. It also protects your feet. I hit my feet into a sharp metal bar and almost fell. The boot got a little cut on first layer only. It didn't touch or hurt my foot. And it's still sealed. I've tried many different boots for work (I walk a lot at work also). This one is best in any aspects. WILL BUY AGAIN :) Thanks.

I've used the Hummtto river shoes for years including a trip down the Grand canyon. I saw they made hiking shoes so I bought a set for a hiking trip in the desolation wilderness at 7000 feet. These hiking shoes are terrific. Comfortable right out of the box, great fit waterproof sides, and amazing sole grip. I will be buying another set.
