I had cataract surgery in both eyes recently and I still don't see very well. I see close up but distance is a little difficult. I was having trouble seeing the TV clearly across the room and my eye doctor told me about distance glasses. I always knew about readers that you see in the drug stores, but I had never heard of distance glasses. I wasn't sure what to get but I ordered -2 diopters and when they arrived I put them on and WOW! Everything was sharp and clear. It's a little bit of a pain when I want to look at my phone to do something and then look at the at the TV. I have to take the glasses on and off but it's so worth it to see clearly. I'm in the process of getting contacts, so that will help me with near and distance. But I probably will still use these glasses when I take my contacts out.

I bought one pair to see how good they are. They did not disappoint at all. The glasses are the best and the price is unbeatable. They are comfy, the script is great and they are overall just a great fit. Because of the price you do not have to be ultra worried if you lose them or break them. I now own 3 pairs (2 regulars and the sunglasses). I am rough on my glasses and they can take the punishment. I would and have recommended them to anyone who wears glasses.

I lost my glasses during a vacation trip on the first day, a 20-hour road trip away from home. It took two days or less to ship to my hotel/resort and I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation worry free! I am very thankful I am able to spend less than $20 and get it through amazon quickly. I called every optometrist and everyone quoted a one-week minimum, don't even get me started with the cost of urgently made glasses. I was able to drive 20 hours back home completely fine and headache free. I ordered -1.5 prescriptions even though my eye is -1.5 on one side and -1.25 on the other, it was a near-perfect fit for me. TLDR: Glasses work 100%, able to drive 20 hours road trip headache free. Double-check your prescription (nearsighted glasses!)
