Looked like right part but it wasn’t. The small tube was too big for the fitting. Plus the canister was bulged at bottom so it wouldnt seat right on bracket’ 06 Sububan 4x4 5.3l

Wrong part wouldn't hoses Wrong size, paid mechanic to put on then found out one of the hoses wouldn't fit, it's a 2005 suburban 5.3 4x4

    • CHECK ENGINE CODE CHANGE SPECIFICALLY TO CANISTER AFTER INSTALL
I brought this part for my truck due to smoke test and recommendations from mechanic shop, original codes where p0445 (large evap leak) p0442 (small leak). Canister is not a perfect fit for 2011 escalade esv on the bracket but was not a big deal. Check engine light was cleared and droved the truck for about 20 min before it came back on with code p0446 which is more specific for vapor canister leaking. ... show more
