The individual and combined laser lines can be selected individually depends on job site applications. The lithium battery comes with a Type-C charging port that can be charged separately. When taking out the battery, the laser tool can be used at the job site by plugged in. 4 battery indicators on the keypad allow users to know the current battery volume and charging protection helps prevent from overcharging.
  • Brighter Green Laser & Outdoor Pulse Mode: This cross line laser adopts the bright Osrams green laser unit, which is resistant to temperature changes and has higher stability. At the same power, the green laser is twice bright as the red laser, with a working range up to 85 feet (300LUX) of accuracy within 1/9 Inch at 33 Feet. The outdoor pulse mode can be activated by pressing the Pulse Mode Button, allowing to extend the laser range up to 200 feet with Huepar Line Laser Detector.
  • More Installation Methods: The laser level comes with 1/4"-20 thread to suit for standard tripod or laser mounting pole. Equipped with a magnetic pivoting base, the laser tool can be rotated to the required angle. And the 1/4"-20 & 5/8"-11 mounting threads help mount it to different tripod threads. Two strong magnets allow for attachment to metal track and steel. Two nail holes for more fixing methods when working. The laser windows can be removed and replaced with a screwdriver.

The Huepar Cross Line Laser Level is an amazing laser level. I have had four other laser levels and they have helped run a line along one or two vectors, but the real world is more than two dimensions and things like requiring it to be tacked onto the wall are not always practical. The 360 degree horizontal lines and the perpendicular forward and side lines make this a super useful tool - especially with a tripod. This device lasts a long time on a charge and has helped me do things like mount a series of paintings on a wall, layout wall tiles in level rows with even columns, mount large lighted mirrors on the bathroom wall with multiple points of attachment, and even for quickly laying laminate flooring with perfectly offset rows. I had several projects coming up which a laser level would make my work a lot easier but I was not really wanting to pay several hundred dollars for projects that I was trying to save money on by doing it myself. I began to reconsider after seeing the Huepar B21CG for around the $100 point. My first project was installing a chain link fence. It was outside but I needed to match levels to other fence lines and had several shrubs in the area that made stringing a line difficult. At around 12 feet away, I was able to use this outside to not only level and set my screed boards for the brick patio area that was going to be adjacent to the fence but also to confirm level for the top rails of the fence when it went in. Having the laser setting behind me where I could just glance and the boards and verify they were still level was a huge benefit. The light was easily viewable with cloudy skys overhead. My next project was going to be in more direct sunlight and I was concerned I might not see the laser. It was also going to be at different levels as I needed to excavate the ground levels for a pond repair and expansion. Given my concerns I went ahead and ordered the LR-5RG Laser Detector and just got it today. Of course, I had to "test it" to make sure things worked... so I installed the receivers batteries, powered it on, played with the different settings to familiarize myself with the unit and powered the B21CG on and put it in pulse mode as instructed... granted I was only a few feet away, and inside but the detector started screaming as soon as I got close to the level - that was great! So I set the laser out on a table outside and went for a walk... I had to stop somewhere over 100 feet as I would have been in my neighbor's yard but it had no problem receiving the signal at that point, even though the level was no where near visible to the naked eye - even after 20 feet. The other thing I loved was that the case that came with the laser had room and a place for the detector and it's mounting bar. Overall I am very impressed and can't wait to finish the pond project. Thanks for providing such an awesome tool at an affordable price point for those of us who are not professional surveyors or contractors but still enjoy using the right tool for the job. ... show more

I had bought a different level previously from a big box store that just didn't work well. This level is miles ahead of my old level. The light is nice and bright. The self-leveling feature is something you'll never want to do without once you've had this feature on your level. The battery longevity is pretty good too. Last for hours.     • It is excellent for what it does for this casual user who uses it for home projects.

Once you figure it out it is simple. The beams are bright and clear and appear to be accurate for the work I have done so far which include checking and setting floor elevations, formwork, and pipe grades. I look forward to using it when my spouse wants to hang pictures. I do not like the instructions and think markings on the device would improve usability. The on/off function(s) are obscure. I still do not fully understand it and just fiddle with it until it appears to turn off. One switch (Pendulum / Transit Lock) has 3 positions and no markings nor does the manual explain which position is which. You learn that by using. The operation button is marked as the power button but does not always turn it off. That depends on the Pendulum Switch position. It does control laser line operations but nowhere does it describe the sequence of selection. Another learn by doing. I "learned" these complex settings by trial and error use over the last two days. They are not in the User Manual. After I am done with this project, I probably will not remember them the next time I set it up. For that reason I cannot recommend this product for the occasional user. ... show more

I was skeptical when I saw this listed with the price. Seems many others are selling for a lot more $ but I don't need something I will use every day so decided to spring for it. I needed a self-leveling laser to level a deck that had been very poorly added on to the house I bought. Well, I was surprised at the heft and quality of the device when I removed it from the shipping package and then from the plastic storage case. I plugged in the charging cable, reviewed the instructions, and within an hour, it was ready for work! Took it outside and set it up, powered on the pulse laser detector (purchased separately) I connected to a grade rod, and within 5 minutes, I had determined the high and low points of my deck. It was as simple as that! The storage case even has a place to drop in the pulse laser detector (LR-6RG) for safe keeping. This was a great first experience with the Huepar B02CG self-leveling laser level and I couldn't be happier. I will now be able to shim the existing deck, and then add on to it knowing that I can have a level structure across the patio and around the new hot tub. Easy to use, decent case for storage. Wish you could lock it in place while in use. Locking it turns it off. Otherwise my first level and I like it. Glad I purchased. We'll see how it holds up over time.
