Description

These 5 gallon HDPE buckets are extremely tough. 90 mil construction allow for these buckets to be used over and over again. Sturdy wire bail with a plastic handgrip is attached to the bucket. Practical Fill is 5.10 gal. (19.30 liters) and overflow fill is 5.40 gal. (20.44 liters). Meets standards. Flat lid included. Six pack, item contains three buckets and three lids.

These are sturdy, thick, heavy plastic and built for the ages. Comparing these to the 5-gallon plastic buckets at the hardware stores is not fair - these are in a whole new category. I bought them to store sand. I had a whole-house generator installed, and the propane lines had to be buried 18" deep...with 6" of sand underneath, and 6" of sand on top. That's current code. Trouble is, I had lots of sand left over, and I wanted to keep it for mixing into planting beds, leveling flagstones and more projects. So I'll use these buckets to store the sand. Number one: Made in the USA. These buckets are worth the extra money, they are heavier duty than any of the big box store buckets. Plus, they are food grade. I liked the first three so much I bought three more.

Great for DWC. Im indoors, black is perfect for keeping the light out. If you need to use them for storage, the lids fit nicely. Some buckets I cut out 2" / 3" holes so I could put in net pots. I have extras so the bucket swap is easier.

These are superb buckets. Basically perfect, including material and tops. I use them for lots of thing in garage and house. Yes, they are expensive, but one pays more for American made stuff so that the American makers can offer good wages to fellow Americans and such.

I purchased these for my chickens as water buckets and well, lets just say make sure they are in full shade unless you want hot water or whatever. These buckes really heat up the water fast if in the sun.

Use these buckets in conjunction with a battery powered shower pump. Works great! Full it with water and leave it in the sun and in a few hours you have plenty of warm water.
