As a beginner to the art of airbrushing (as indicated by my poor first attempt at shading on my parts pictured), I appreciate how complete the kit is overall. I paired this up with a quick disconnect attachment and a portable compressor. Which has been an amazingly easy process to get used to. The needle installed out of the box is a fine point, so larger pieces can take a few coats but is great for finer lines. The double action moves smoothly and is easy to control and the adjustment screw at the back for limiting airflow works perfectly. Speaking of installs, taking this apart for cleaning is straight forward. Despite being a novice I was able to disassemble, clean and reassemble with no difficulty. The color coating of the airbrush resists paint spills very well and cleans up very easily. Even with my little portable compressor on its base flow setting, this brush provides fantastic coverage. Larger pieces may take a little while but that's what the larger flow needles are for. The second picture I provided was after two sessions with the oob needle. They came out great! The paints I used were pre-thinned for airbrushing (G-paint) so there was no headache there, I highly recommend pre-thinned paints if you're still learning to take away some of the variables. Short version: buy this brush, regardless if your're new or an expert, this brush is an excellent workhorse.

This is a great airbrush for beginners or the expert. This is just as good and works well like a Badger or Iwata brand. Bought this for my son who was beginning to use an airbrush. Just last week I bought one for me. I’ve been building models for 45 years.

The brush works really great! A word of warning though. If the installed .2mm nozzle will come off with just your finger tips put the wrench away. I tore mine down for cleaning and when I touched the preinstalled nozzle.02mm half of it fell off in my hand. So I had to fish the threads out I reassembled with the.05mm. It must be a defect in the manufacture of the nozzle because mine looks just like the other guy with pictures. I don’t know how it can break like it did without even putting any pressure at all on it. I would like to see if the supplier would send me a replacement.2mm nozzle because that’s what I bought it for was for fine lines and details. :Update. The supplier contacted me and said they are going to send me a new one, (but is going to take 10-12 weeks) : Update #2.. it did not take 10-12 weeks to get ! I received a complete set of nozzles yesterday (a complete set.2mm,.3mm and.5mm) so they came in a timely manner and thank you for the other 2 nozzles, it’s great to have spares!

It worked. For a minute. Something in it is plugged and I can’t find it. Can’t find replacement parts for it either. I just replaced it. Would be great for someone who is more meticulous at cleaning than me I guess

This is my 6th brush having 2 fixed top gravity cup, 2 removable side gravity cups, and 2 bottom siphons. This top gravity cup is same comfort as my others but has the best versatility as far as cup size. Since I use to paint 3D printed figures and minis I use the large cup when applying the base prime coat to several prints at the same time and mostly use the small cup for detail work. The small cup is the perfect size for small amounts of paint allowing ease of switching colors. Because the cups are removable it has also been the easiest to clean and therefore have had less clogs. While I haven't changed the needle yet I like having the option.

1st off I'll say it is NOT a HUBEST gun, it is an ABEST. So false advertising right off the bat ! But other than that, it appears to be a decent gun, especially for the money. I am a commercial glazier who installs highrise window wall systems. I do ALOT of airbrushing on our windows to fix damage I was very happy to see all the parts were in the package, as some reviews stated that the actual gun was not even in the package!! I would have given it a 5 star if they didnt flat out loe about the brand of it. How do you allow this amazon ??? Only other complaint I have is the manufacturer's packaging! Its garbage. A kit with so many pieces should have a case of some sort to hold everything in. And the packaging is disposable. UPDATE... changed needle tip using supplied small wrench. Put less than 1/8 of a turn on wrench after finger tighten and the threads broke off the #2 needle tip. They are sending a replacement and will send this one back. Hooenit was just a fluke. I'll give it 1 more chance. Ok final UPDATE to review. This gun is garbage !!! Plain and simple. Got replacement gun 2 days later. And will say as long as you only use #2 that come installed on gun. It may work fine but if you try to swap them out to #3 or #5 the tiny o-rings on the tip sleeve are garbage they leak like crazy. I have heard of people removing O-ring and using g natural bees wax that may work but me personally. I'm throwing in the towel. And going to make use of all the other parts that come with it.

This is a great airbrush for the money great for a beginner, it doesn’t feel like my Iwata eclipse and probably won’t last as long but for $25.00 you can’t beat it. I use three brushes when painting a motorcycle, one for black, one for white and one for color. I have two Iwatas and one of these.
