Let me start by admitting that this is my first airbrush. I don’t pretend to have any experience with other airbrushes. I do, however, know that this one has done everything I’ve tried to do without a single complaint. I have used the .3 and .5 nozzles for about 12 hours altogether using several different brands acrylic airbrush paint, standard acrylic, Duracoat, Cerakote, and even some decanted spray paint. I bought this to try my hand at custom camo patterns on firearms with Cerakote, but I didn’t want to buy an expensive brush only to find out that I didn’t have the skills necessary to do it well. So, I figured it was worth the $20 to find out and I’m glad I did! I’m no artist, but this brush makes details and effects easy for me. Again, I don’t know what advantages I would have with a more expensive airbrush, but the performance I’ve had from this one up to this point is definitely all I need.

I only purchased this brush for basecoats and using the .5 mm. This said, the airbrush is OK for a beginner. Feels nice in the hand, comes with a quick disconnect and two other needle size options. I did find two issues with this airbrush: the needles are rough. this leads to inconsistent spray patterns and premature tip dry. Second issue, machining swirls at the bottom of the paint cup. This will catch paint and makes it a pain to clean. It’s an ok brush for 22$ but once it wears, spend the extra $ and upgrade.

Wasnt expecting much for price. Im an iwata fan, but just needed something with bigger needle setup than my iwatas to blast areas quickly. This thing does NOT feel cheap. Great finish. Definatly recommend for beginners and ppl who cant afford high dollar airbrush.
