The resolution and color on the screen is incredible, and it is extremely responsive to the touch. In general I really liked the watch, even with the software issues (in the US). I got other faces to load with a bit of effort. Software is a bit of a mess, but have not seen any smart watch software that is actually good. I am sending it back for only one reason, and it is the only real issue I had with the watch. The screen goes to the edge of the watch, and is not protected. For most people this would not matter but I am very active and the appearance of my G-Shock watches prove it. This watch, although incredible, would have a broken crystal/screen within a year... tops. After trying half a dozen smart watches, ended up going with the Amazfit T Rex Pro. Battery life for both is excellent. Screen is not as good, or responsive as the Huawei but it is a pretty accurate/decent watch that is built to military grade like my G Shocks. It SHOULD last. If Huawei ever builds a military grade watch as good as this one, I will be a buyer. I really did like it. ... show more

Only used it for a few days so far but the 14 day battery life is fantastic. The watch and app cover a wide range of health and sports functions. One of the best is continual recording of heart beats and the O2 function. Neat compass function too and 4gb of storage for music. Seems good at sleep tracking as well, even showing naps. My wife has an Apple Watch 5 that is all good as well but requires nightly charging and cost twice as much. It is also far more complicated requiring study of the manual to get its best use. The GT2e is very intuitive with easily accessed menus and settings. Physically the watch is large but not overly heavy. The band is flexible perforated rubber allowing air circulation. The size allows a bright large screen. Not sure they are available in the US but it interfaces with scales and other devices to support weight and body fat tracking. In summary it’s a good buy with long battery life and 90 % of the Apple Watch function at a moderate price. ... show more

If your not looking to make calls or reply to messages on your watch the GT2e is a great smart-ish watch at a really good price. I was looking for fitness tracking, sleep tracking, weather, notifications and the like and the GT2e does well at those things. It looks sharp and the screen is very crisp and clear. I have a slightly larger than average wrist and the watch fits me very well. A few others have commented that the US version has a limited number of watch faces, and this is true. However, it is not difficult to gain access to the additional watch faces by installing the Huawei health app from the Huawei App Gallery. My husband purchased this and I got the Huawei Band 6. A data analyst on YouTube researched these products and claimed the heart rate monitoring was the most accurate compared to the Polar H10, which is a chest strap that tracks your heart rate. We wanted to track our heart rate for exercise purposes, and it WORKS. When we took a vasodilator, which slows down heartrate, before a workout, the watch showed our heart rate dropping and staying lower. When we avoided the Hyde (vasodilator) the heart rate was normal and showed high activity levels. He likes taking Hyde for muscle-gaining purposes, however I want to be in fat-burning mode, and so the Band 6 helped me realize I had to stop taking Hyde in order to be in full fat-burning mode. The data analyst showed that the Polar H10 was 97% accurate compared to a real heart-tracking monitor. He said that the Apple Watch series were the most accurate compared to brands like Garmin and Xiomi, however that the Huawei GT series watches and Huawei Band 6 (which was $60) were as accurate. We purchased both. There is no need to pay to use the watch after purchasing, unlike Fitbits, which we both prefer. Also, in order to download the Huawei Health app on your non-Apple phone, you have to download it on the actual Samsung app store. You will only find scammy knock-off apps on the Google play store, so don't go there for it. The noticable differences between the two watches are the prices, the sizes, and the format. They do not look the same or have the same watch faces, and this watch is more expensive. A noticable difference for a user and not a buyer is that the cheaper Band 6 has the ability to quick respond to messages and calls. You will not be able to do that with this watch. Notifications connect and pop up on the screen of this GT watch, however, you will not be able to respond with text to the messages or calls. You can hang up, but that's it. With the Band 6, you can edit quick responses on the Huawei Health app settings. They have default messages like "Hi! How are you?" that you can delete or edit to make it sound like you. And you will be able to respond with text to calls and messages directly on the Huawei Band 6 watch. When my husband first got this GT watch, he had to download SO MANY different versions of Huawei. I mean, it kept downloading for DAYS. So, that's also something else to consider. I prefer my Band 6 because the screen is smaller and I can quick respond to calls and messages. It isn't just texts, either. You can connect the Huawei Health app to Messenger, Snapchat, texts, Amazon, anything! My husband wanted the GT watch because he prefers the military look and feel, and he works where it can break easily. I recommend the Band 6 to anyone, and the GT is good if you don't mind the cons. ... show more

This is the third smartwatch I've tried in two months to replace my Amazfit Pace and I can safely say I've finally found a winner. The must haves for me are 5-7 day battery life, gps tracking with bluetooth music simultaneously for outdoor running, notifications, and sleep tracking in that order. The Amazfit GTR 2 did all of these except it couldn't hold a connection with headphones when running with GPS (tried 4 different types of true wireless headphones). The Garmin vivoactive 3 music had the same issue. I can safely say now that this Huawei watch does not have this issue, it has a longer battery life than either of the other two, is a better looking watch, and is cheaper. If you like to run outside without your phone this is a no brainer to me. ... show more
