I've bought several laptop desks and none have met my expectations till now. This one is very well made, comfortable & stylish. I bought because I started to get horrible back, neck and wrist pain at my home office desk. I bought several chairs, lumbar supports and wrist cushions. Went to Chiro, massages, bought back stretches and nothing was helping. I work on a computer, sitting 8 hrs a day and already have bad posture. Only comfy spot for my back was my couch, but my laptop on just my lap still strained my neck and wrists. Things loved: The cushions underneath are very comfortable on my legs with a nice incline. Wrist rest is comfy. All cushioned areas are firm, but not too firm. The material covering cushions seems it will hold up nicely. The phone slot is cool and holds up my iPhone XS well, to see when I'm coming messages come in. Other slots I use for pens & lip balms. The wood grain finish has held up daily for over a month using long workdays and cats running across with no scratching or peel up. It's been easy to clean too. My work laptop is a 14 inch HP Elitebook and it fits nicely on the desk with room on each side. No interference with mousepad. My MacBook Pro 16 inch fits as well, but takes up most desk, still leaving mouse area. Mouse are is a nice touch and helpful, but... Things to improve: Mousepad material is a textured vinyl and though works fine and not peeled up. As others mentioned it makes it harder to move my wireless mouse. It's not a smooth movement and takes extra work. I'd rec a smooth surface. I'd like more an incline or option to add more incline. Though it gives a slight incline for better screen view, it's not enough for me. Just need another inch or so for better neck position. It's giant and a little heavy for me. If you're a shorty like me(5'4) it will be giant. When on my lap from waist, it sits a few inches above knees. It sticks out a lot on both sides of my legs. I wouldn't be able to sit in narrow chairs. The weight isn't bad or too much and good on lap, but again I'm small in weight too, so carrying it is heavy and long. Not easy to take elsewhere in hand and to big for laptop backpack. Even with the things I'd improve on, I'd highly rec this desk! None of the issues are too troublesome nor a dealbreaker for me. It's helped sooo much with all my pain, which is now almost nonexistent. If you're looking for a great laptop desk, don't go cheap or hesitate on this one...buy it!

This lap desk is almost perfect. It’s lightweight, durable, and very comfortable on the legs. My laptop fits well on the surface, and the built-in mouse pad area has a nice texture that gives just enough grip so your mouse doesn’t slide around or fall off. The top surface feels sturdy, yet it’s light enough to move easily from room to room. The only downside for me is the built-in holder slot for your phone. I tried placing my smartphone in the right-side compartment, but it leans forward, making it difficult to view the screen. The left-side tablet holder works fine. It almost seems like the phone slot was installed backward, though they’re glued in tightly, so I’m not sure it could be reversed without damaging the unit. Still, aside from that one issue, this lap table is incredibly functional, well-designed, and easy to use. It checks most of the boxes for comfort and usability. 4/5. Nearly perfect, but the forward-leaning device slot holds it back a bit, literally.

i had a need for a product like this and I looked at a lot of different items and had no idea what to get. Hopefully this will help someone. I wanted a comfortable, stable desk that would also allow me to use a mouse easily and that’s what this is. Unlike some of the negative reviews mine appears to be sturdy, well built for what it is, and very comfortable. I’m using a 17” thin laptop on it which has a 15.5” wide chassis. It overhangs the mousepad portion by 1”. You can use a laptop with a 14.5” CHASSIS width without overhanging the mousepad. Just measure the width of your laptop to see how it will fit. The mousepad itself is 6.25” x 7.75”. I’m able to sit in a La-Z-Boy and the lapdesk fits on my lap fine between the arms of the chair. I’m able to do business work on it with no issues using the built-in mousepad, and if I’m gaming with the laptop I’ll usually use a separate mousepad to the side as the built-in is a bit small for that purpose. It’s great for maintaining adequate airflow to the laptop when it needs more ventilation. The wrist pad is a bit high but is soft and comfortable for me. The pads underneath are also comfortable and fit me fine. It feels heavy enough to be stable but doesn’t feel bulky, and it transports easily. I’m 6’1” and some of the negative reviews on comfort mentioned that they were shorter, so that could be in issue for some people. In addition, the phone holder doesn’t work well for my IPhone 11 max. I never use that feature but I tested it out to see, and although my phone never fell out it leans forward instead of leaning back. A smaller phone might work, but I don’t know. Since I don’t use it I don’t care, but if that’s important to you then you might be disappointed. All in all this was exactly what I was looking for and I’m happy with it.

I work from home and this is a great lap desk. Nice and soft cushioning for your lap and wrist support. It has a nice sized mouse pad and a place you can either put your phone or your pens. Good value.

Absolutely love this lap desk. I use it so often I'm rarely without it. This puts my laptop at a good angle and height for when I'm on our recliner couch or in my hammock chair. I use it for work and gaming as well as with my iPad in bed. This was a total lifesaver after recovering from abdominal surgery and I couldn't sit at my desk to work but I was bored out of my mind lying in bed. The handle makes it easy to transport and I've taken it on several road trips. It's pretty sturdy, as I've dropped it on the pavement before with it only chipping a tiny bit on a corner. Great value for what you get.
