On our flat to moderate uphill hike in 12 to 18 inches of fresh snow, The snow shoes were awesome. They were easy to clip on and never needed readjustment. I did lose two of the baskets on the end of the ski poles, maybe I didn’t screw them on tight enough? Otherwise everything was great.

The straps have to be worked a bit before you are standing out in the snow trying to connect them, I would recommend setting them up so you can insert your boot and tighten, as you cannot manage them with gloves on. First time snow shoe owners for this family but we appreciate the ease of use.

I mean it’s only November in NY (aka no snow). That said I have not used the snow shoes yet. Upon inspection, they appear to good quality and the value is great. I may update this to 5 stars based on performance in the snow. So until then, winter is coming, my friends, winter is coming.

I thought for sure when I bought these for myself as a birthday present that it would guarantee we'd have no snow this winter. I was so wrong and these have been so much fun. Easy to put on, easy to adjust I've had so much fun tracking through the snow with friends - makes me want winter to never end. ... show more
