  • Just what we wanted
I haven't tried them yet but they seem to be great snowshoes

  • Lightweight Pair Heel Lift 25inch Snowshoes w/2 Trek Poles & Zippered Carry Bag
I was happy to get this pair of 25 inch Snowshoes with Trekking Poles that come in a vented Carry Bag. The bag has some mesh and a zipper. I am a total noob and have never tried this sport. These look great in Orange - other sizes & colors are available. I loved how well these are made and they should support me. It is important to get a size to go with the weight to be carried. Were I hiking with a heavy gear pack and stuff I'd need a bigger pair to suit the load. Note the chart on the parachute tag and in the listing. These can support up to ~90Kg/200lbs which will be ok. These look great, are light in weight with strong aluminum alloy frames, thick enough bottom grip cleats and good adjustable bindings for my boots. This set comes with a pair of Trekking poles that have a telescoping shaft that locks tightly. The poles have a rubber tip which pops off to reveal a Carbide end that limits slips on rock and can dig into ice. I love that! Snowshoe Rentals at ski lodges can run $30 a day or more - plus deposit plus late fees. This is the smart way to go for my purposes. Backcountry snowshoeing doesn't limit me to any ski areas either so the cost is small. I Recommend these G2 GO2GETHER Store G2 21/25/30 Inches Light Weight Snowshoes for Women Men Youth, Set with Trekking Poles, Carrying Bag, Snow Baskets, Special EVA Padded One-Pull Binding, Heel Lift, Toe Box, Orange/Blue/Red Available. Very well made and ready to go for my snow adventuring. I hope you’ve found the information and my review helpful. ... show more

  • Poles were disappointing, but shoes OK
Our snow shoes survived one outing with no problem, and we had great fun. The straps are a bit stiff, and you would do well to adjust them for your boots and practice putting them on and off in a warm indoor spot before heading out to the snow. High end snow shoes tend to have teeth all the way around the frame, which helps a lot in steep, rough, or icy terrain. These have smooth aluminum tubes, like most of the cheaper ones. You would hardly notice the difference on flat trails, and wonder why you even need the trekking poles. We used ours on an uphill trail with 20-degree slopes, and they were OK, but that's when you definitely need the poles. (With our snow shoes, we could ascend much further than anyone in boots alone, and it was great to have the silent, snowy trail to ourselves.) The poles were the biggest disappointment in the package -- poorly made so some of the extension clamps were very difficult to close, and others so loose that the poles would collapse during normal use. Also, you need to be careful that the baskets are screwed on properly at the tips, or they might come off and get lost. ... show more

  • Best Out of Four Snowshoes
We have 4 sets of snowshoes and this pair is hands down the best. I hiked on the same trail wearing this and my old pair. My friend also used these snowshoes and gave it two thumbs up. We tested all snowshoes on a 3-mile out and back mountain trail with an elevation gain of 500 ft. PROS - Easy to put on and take off compared to the models that have buckled straps. - The baskets on the poles have bigger diameter. - The heel lift makes going uphill more comfortable. My friend has back problems and he said the heel lift made a difference. - My legs and feet didn 't feel as tired at all. With the other snowshoes my feet hurt going uphill. - Quality design and materials CONS - I have a minor issue with the bag: it's "toploading" with mesh. It would have been easier to have the zipper on the side, which is wider. - I'm not sure if I like the velcro straps to hold the poles outside. I prefer the bag to be roomier for everything to be stored inside. ... show more

  • Work well
The poles are easy to adjust and use, i like the orange because it is very visible. The shoes are easy enough to put on. They do have a belt buckle like contraption to secure the back. They must be tight to stay on. The cleats help with grip and are very useful. It has the uphill bar on the back which is a bar that you flip up into a cut out in the base that hold it in place. I am a first timer and found these pretty easy to use. They come with a carrying case which I am not sure how sturdy to soft case is but I like it has a handle on top. ... show more

  • Very Light and Solid Foot Support
Poles are adjustable and have good wrist bands. The shoes are 4 lbs for the 25 inch and they feel light. I’m sure that changes after hours walking but for feeling in the bag and snow hikes they’re great. Wear your own boots and strap your feet in, the adjustments only take a moment. The toe strap helps my boots feel secure. So far I really like this set and the bag makes it more convenient to keep them in my car in case I wasn’t to go explore. ... show more

  • Wonderful!
I love it! This set is so much better than the snowshoe set I rented recently. It fits well and the straps are easier to work with. Just pull to cinch and pull to uncinch. One step for each action and done. These shoes even one-up the rental shoes by having a lift feature for climbing up hills. The set comes with poles and the appropriate snow attachments for those poles. FYI: The 25" snowshoes fit my women's size 8.5 shoes. ... show more

  • Good value for the quality
Decent shoe for price. Clips are cheap plastic and broke with first use. Poles definitely need an upgrade. But due those just starting or limited use, worth a shot.
