This is a light weight monitor that has a beautiful display but be aware that you cannot use a C to USB converter to connect to your HP laptop it will only display if the C port is plugged into the outlet for the power cord so you will need to get a round male to C converter to use the other power outlet on the laptop. ... show more

I bought this to use it as a second monitor for my Alienware M15 R4 for browser, Discord and so on. It's sooooo good that I totally love it! Pros: 1. Very slim design, solid built. 2. Single cable connection. I connect it to the gaming laptop with just one USB-C cable, versus 2 cables needed for my other GeChic monitor. 3. Gorgeous display performance. No bleed at all. Very even back-lid. 4. Nice sleeve, elegant and soft. Cons: The sleeve that comes with the monitor is too soft that it gives zero protection to the monitor in a crowded backpack. If you're gonna throw the monitor into a backpack with a bunch of other stuffs, remember put monitor and laptop together, facing the display side to your laptop's A side, away from cable. ... show more

After using it regularly at my desk I decided to transport it to school. I properly transported it and the screen is now messed up. Be careful with this screen as it is sensitive.

I am really bummed this monitor wasn't more durable. It works great, and the slim design is a bonus. But with that comes durability issues. After only 3 months, the screen has been damaged and the warranty doesn't cover "customer damage". Transport carefully if you want this device to last.
