Prevent Drying and Cracking Use Howard Feed-N-Wax to prevent drying and cracking while preserving the wood finish. Feed-N-Wax is a special blend of beeswax carnauba wax and orange oil. It enhances the natural beauty and depth of grain in finished and unfinished wood especially oak. Maintain the Natural Beauty Use Feed-N-Wax every month or so to maintain the natural beauty of your wood finish. Polish all wood surfaces to a soft luster while leaving a protective coating of beeswax and carnauba wax. DIRECTIONS Saturate a small pad of cloth and wipe on Let stand for at least 20 minutes and wipe Polish out with a clean soft cloth

Our log cabin is about 27 years old, and the floors were originally waxed, not sealed (by previous owners). We've lived here almost 8 years and wanted to freshen them up. I am cleaning sections at a time, then applying this product to nourish and wax the surfaces. We can hardly believe the difference! I've found that if I can, to let it just sit undisturbed a couple of days before buffing, to let the product seep in as much as possible. Will be buying more, as we plan to do the entire house.
