  • Great
How the Grinch Stole Christmas! is a timeless classic that has been enjoyed by generations of readers. This full-color jacketed edition brings the story to life in a whole new way, with vibrant illustrations that capture the whimsy and humor of Dr. Seuss's original tale. The story follows the Grinch, a grouchy creature who lives in a cave on a mountain overlooking Whoville. The Grinch hates Christmas and decides to steal all of the presents and decorations from the Whos, hoping to ruin their holiday spirit. But when he hears their joyful singing despite his efforts, his heart grows three sizes and he realizes the true meaning of Christmas. This edition includes an introduction by Charles D. Cohen that provides insight into Seuss's creative process and the enduring appeal of this beloved story. Overall, this edition is a must-have for any fan of Dr. Seuss or anyone looking for a heartwarming holiday tale that will delight both children and adults alike. ... show more

  • I loved the illustrations.
I wanted to revisit this Christmas classic. I loved the added coloring to the illustrations. The added color is just enough to make the book a little more interesting but not enough to take away from the original work. I think children will stay engaged with this books illustrations the colors make the book interesting. ... show more

  • A classic Christmas Novel
For the children, this is a novel, my kids of 4 and 2 years old can barely hang on through the entire, extremely verbose book, but we made it. They loved it, better than the movie. A Christmas tradition that will help your children be more who-ey and less grinchy if you read it to them correctly. I recommend this timeless classic. ... show more

  • The Grinch!
The original book. What"s not to like about the story? This book is an accurate representation, the colors and text are spot on. It made a great gift for a 30 yo this past Christmas, she was thrilled and looks forward to reading it to hers like I did to her many years ago.
