    • Battery life could be a bit better. It doesn't go up shallow slopes/roads after 20 minutes of use.

If you are mostly going over paved roads/sidewalks that are flat... and you don't need to use it longer than 40 minutes at a time, this will work well. I got this for my son (about 90 lbs). It works ok on the road or sidewalk. On gravel or any natural surface (dirt path, mulch path, pinebark path), forget it. Also, if there is any sort of upward slope it won't climb it after about 20 minutes of battery life (I am not talking a mountain but a 3-5% grade). 20 minutes after that, it slows down and you need to just pick it up and carry it home. We got 2 of these hover boards, a pink one for our 6 year old and a purple 1 for our 4 year old. They had never rode a hover board so this was their first and I was scared that they’d hurt themselves. And they have, but not bad. If they’re low on battery and they’re riding them, the hover board will die while they’re riding it causing them to lunge forward and fall. Also the hover boards are quite squeaky. I purchased this cheaper product because I spent alot on a segway and it damaged after my son was caught in the rain. My 4yo daughter loves it and rides it all the time. She too was caught in the rain with it but it didn't affect the product. Purchased the same for my godson, 9yo, his stopped working in a month. Got this for my 6 year old who had been asking for a hoverboard forever, but they were usually in the 200 dollar range and didn't seem like a good buy. This was on sale for 88 bucks, and I have to tell you, it's just hands down a no brainer, and amazing deal. It works perfectly for him and he has had no issues learning how to ride it!!!
