    • Plastic Main Sink Drain VERY hard to get apart and install
When I read the sink included main sink drain, I returned the one I purchased from a big box. What a mistake. I have tried coins, penetrating lubes and a metal right angle square. None worked. I've spent 30 minutes trying to make this work, and nothing. What a waste of money.

    • OK- some minor issues
Overall the sink is fine, except for the corners - they are not smoothly finished and seem rough/un-filed/ground smooth. I also hate the screws used for the sink's clamps..., the slots are too small... Additionally, I didn't install the plastic sink drain that came with it. I got another stainless steel one from a big box hardware store to use instead. I also bought accessory wire mesh rakes and a strainer for the little sink off amazon for this sinks: make sure you look at the model of the sink when buying accessories to ensure the accessories fit/make for this model. My big disappointment was - I really wanted the small sink to be on the other side (like my old ELKAY sink was), but after three attempts to order ones like that on Amazon, and finding out they were all un-available/discontinued, I settled for this one with the little sink on the other side, and had to reduce/swap my drainage plumbing accordingly. ... show more

    • Love My New Sink
I love my new sink. It is a great configuration for ease of use and is easy to keep clean even with my high mineral content water. I was surprised when the double sink arrived with only one drain/strainer assembly. In my opinion this is a bad on Amazons part for not putting this info in their product description. I called Amazon thinking the part was missing and spoke with a customer service rep in India. My choices were to send the whole sink back or call the manufacturer myself and resolve the issue. I didn't think this was good customer service after having experienced great customer service from another online retailer when recently purchasing toilets. I called the manufacturer and found that they no longer ship double sinks with two drain/strainer units because "most" people put a garbage disposal in the smaller sink. The manufacturer does not sell to the public. So I then had to locate the part somewhere else on line because I live on the west coast and Houser is an east coast brand not carried our here and Amazon does not carry the part either. Eventually, the sink was installed and I love it. I love Houser, just not Amazon. ... show more

This is a beautiful sink. The big bowl lets you do anything from cleaning vegetables to filling a lobster pot to washing that big skillet. The small prep side is just the space your need to clean veggies right on the garbage disposable side and not have to mix the debris and dirt. The shallow is perfect so you don't get a backache reaching down into the sink keeping your frame straight when working. Absolutely, Posh Haus is the best company I have ever worked with. They were friendly, helpful, and got right back to me when I had a question. The product arrived so fast too. Great Company! Sink is pretty good looking overall. However the thinness of the metal makes it a bit flimsy for how large it is. If you're using a water faucet that has a decent amount of weight to it you may see a slight tip just do to the sink being thin. If you have hard water just keep in mind stainless steel will definitely show water spots so be prepared to wipe it out afterwards. This may also have to do with the quality of polish/finish they did on the metal. ... show more
